Looks like Cesc has been teaching his new team-mates his tricks from Barcelona. You know the one were you surround the referee to get someone sent off?

Come on lads, this isn't el clasico.

Meh ... You'll probably find several similar incidents happening over the season. Warnock just clutching at straws and being more than a little hypocritical considering Palace did the exact same thing to get Azpi sent off

Yep will always happen, same for diving and Ref conning!

LOL was not talking about Chelsea mate, meant in general through out the league.

Yeah I know mate. Just felt it was a stupid point that Warnock brought up and glad it hasn't been overblown by the media. Although this whole 'Invincibles' **** isn't going away and that's incredibly annoying

Match seemed about right. McJedley did pretty well against the Chelsea midfield three, and most of the battle was on the flanks. Chelsea won, which was par for the course, without looking entirely convincing, but these are the wins you need to make a title challenge.

No, what's 'small time' is having to use that phrase to attempt to defend your club, especially when that's exactly the kind of **** Mourinho would come out with.

Colin ****** is undoubtedly a ******, but if you don't keep your mouth shut with stupid little jibes like that you'll find all the Palace fans who would normally agree with you - and there are a lot. We're realistic, unlike Chelsea fans because we're not small time, amirite? - will just call you a **** instead. Deservedly, too.

Oh let me first all apologize and then reiterate what i mean, i don't think Palace are a "small time club" not at all. Fans are amazing (despite the banner stating Romans billions is a disease that is ruining the game, if that's the case its a disease i and every Palace fan would want for themselves and/or their club) and i like the club in general. I just think Warnock himself is a small time manager, he is very lucky to be Palace manager.

Wow, it was a second yellow as it was Delaney's 3rd offence of the game what Fabregas done had no effect on the ref! The Palace players surrounded the ref when Azpi got sent off too, it happens get over it!

Whoa there, let's not get ahead of ourselves. I'd much rather our chairmen than a multi-billionaire, actually. I'm fine with Palace just how we are, with local guys and Palace fans from birth running the club. Oil barons can stay well away, thank you very much, given how we nearly went extinct.

Warnock's not 'small time', he's just Colin ******. He's a capable manager, but he's so much of a **** no big club could really take him on. That, and he's hardly a glamour manager.

Speak for yourself. Sure, I probably wouldn't go near the stadium and set myself on fire in protest if it happened to my local club, but I'd much prefer them to remain self-sufficient community effort. You are very lucky in a sense that Roman is a reasonable guy and far too shrewd as businessmen to alienate the community or do other razy *** stunt.

But for each successful big-money takeover, there's about 20 horror-stories. My local club, for example. was taken over buy some **** from middle-east in the early 90s, and shortly after the guy, using promises of building european superpower, organized the rabid part of fanbase to try and force the city to sell him some grounds at a discount. They had protest marches, they had propaganda in the schools, they had street blockades, it was a disaster for years.

After that, never again. I'd rather be small time then have to deal with that nonsense with club essentially holding the entire city hostage.

Understand your worry but when i said your clubs would want it i meant someone who won't just **** you up and leave, i meant someone exactly like Roman who is happy and is staying and has made us massive globally.

What a great performance and result we got tonight, yes it may have been "only" Maribor but didn't Liverpool "only" play Ludogorets, didn't Man Utd "only" play MK Dons? The most impressing thing about tonights game was that we never let up, past Chelsea's may have got 2-3 and then just strolled through the game in 2nd gear. This seasons Chelsea spells blood and just wants to score at every opportunity.

I was impressed with everyone tonight especially Luis, Willian, Maic and Hazard (who quite simply just took the **** all night). Though i must say the most pleasing thing tonight (despite seeing JT sprint 100yards to get on the end of a counter attack and Drogba scoring his 1st goal back at the club) was seeing Ake and Solanke get some minutes and Ake got himself a delightful assist. That is now 4 kids in Kalas, Baker, Swift and now Solanke all to make their debuts in the 15 months Jose has been back in charge of us, and i thought he hated kids and didn't bring them through???

Sunday will be a good test for us no doubt, Utd are very good up front but i feel if we can play with as much attacking movement and speed as we have done so far this season we will be far too good for them.

UTC!

I'd rather be a 'small club' forever than forget our roots and become detached from our community. A commercialised, international Selhurst Park would break me.

The ref was taking no action until he was surrounded by a sea of blue.

The only time you ever see players surround the ref in the premier league is when there has been a really bad tackle ie stoke games. Don't think PL players ever surround the ref for a yellow card or even wave their hand in the card action. It is frowned upon.

Why are you comparing yourself to other teams after such a win? No one has even mentioned any of the clubs you have.

Concentrate on your own team.

Dont get why you are going on and on about this. It happens in the league every week if you don't notice. Take some of your own advice and concentrate on your own team :)
