I kinda understand the Cuadrado thing, but I fail to understand this one. Isn't Cuadrado way more versatile and more of a Jose type than this guy?

Massively more so. I'd be surprised if Douglas Costa happened.

I am guessing Douglas Costa is plan B if Salah pushes for a move and Cuadrado doesn't come

Chelsea's problem is the lack of natural width (something i have actually been saying for about 18 months now) so signing Costa who would play on the right coming inside on his so be it very decent left peg still makes no sense.
 
**** performance. what the **** are we even doing ... How can we perform so well against Swansea and then be so **** one week later. Arrogance?? This team needs to go look at itself

Sums up our backup players really, Mourinho gives them a chance and they perform like this. Absolutely horrendous result, what a bunch of w***kers.
 
Genuinely embarrassing to lose a 2-0 lead against a League One side. I'll try console myself with the prospect that we have less fixture congestion but the performance was a disgrace. Conceding 4 goals against Bradford and 5 against Tottenham. Wtf is up with our defense?

Is Jose trying to make a point? He needs another defender? I don't know what's going on honestly. Jose's teams (especially Chelsea) used to be known for not conceding a lot, if any. He was the master of defending back in the day (not talking about the bus, but proper defence), not sure what's happening.

Jose's turning into the Bill Belichick of the Premier League. Even when he loses people start going "IS IT A TRICK? WAS THIS A DELIBERATE LOSS?!"

It was a cross sport reference to the other football. Bill Belichick is this American football coach, a very talented one who occasionally makes seemingly weird moves that work out spectacularly well. Belichick and Mourinho share this kind of mystique, so much so that people genuinely believe they do stuff like deliberately lose in order to prove a point or somesuch madness.
