No need to waste money on Mandzukic when we have Remy imo. I rather go for Griezmann who is more versatile and young. I have high hopes for Oscar next season, hopefully the summers break does him a world of good and he comes back firing next season

Reports that Emeleano and co. are hoping to conclude major transfer deals early like last summer which would be welcome as well. Preseason for all new signings and we can start strong again

I completely agree, I think Griezmann along with Koke would definitely take us to that next level and should be our main summer targets. Also with Griezmann it'd give us those goals from midfield that we've lacked a bit ever since Frank left.

Theres gonna be some huge signings this summer. And I really think the English clubs will do a lot better in the CL next season.

You get them 2 and we get Bale and Pogba. The league battle next season would be epic, no other teams would stand a chance :)

Haha no chance you lot will get Bale and Pogba. Bale is unlikely to leave despite what the papers speculate. Perez considers him integral to Madrids future. Juventus unlikely to sell Pogba this summer as well I think especially if Pirlo leaves and they are doing so well in the CL and league as it is, going to take a near insane fee to get him to move

Main thing is reducing the burden on Hazard. Right now teams are double/triple marking Hazard and our attack suffers as a result. Someone like Griezzman would ensure they can't do that anymore

I would love both but realistically I think we can only get one. That's why I am hoping we can tie up Schneiderlin early as he looks very possible to get. Clyne as well hopefully as it will allow Iva to rotate a bit more

If we somehow get both Koke and Schneiderlin then our midfield is on par with Bayern's for sure

Yes lol bit like you guys signing Koke and Griezmann, would be nice though :) I do think Pogba will leave but not to us or you guys.

I don't even know if Chelsea will bother going for Pogba if his agent demand crazy transfer fees. While we can definitely afford to sign a marquee player this summer, it makes no sense dumping our entire transfer budget onto one player when their are various needs to be fulfilled in terms of the entire squad. Schneiderlin makes a ton more sense

Pogba purchase =/= our entire transfer budget. It's beyond 150m at this point ffs. Pogba would go for less than 100. And yes, it's worth it. If Bale's worth 100m, buying Pogba for less than 100m is definitely worth it.

Schniederlin would be a good signing for you! I know Arsenal are linked, I hope we are looking also.

What's the point though. Why not just get 2-3 good players such as Schneiderlin and Clyne for the price of Pogba. That leaves us enough money to get a back up goalie and ST as well. If we want to get Pogba and fulfill all our other needs then we will need to sell a big name for sure

In that sum they've included wages and agent fees etc. I think Chelsea will again sell 1-3 players in the summer which would make it possible to spend even more.

Yep. Drogba, Cech, Salah, Moses possibly ... We have enough in reserves atm especially with new Prem TV deal and sponsorship from Yokohama

We can get 3 good players (including Pogba) this summer. I hate when clubs go for the lesser, or, as they call it, 'PLAN B'. If you want to compete you need big players. Other teams, such as City and United, will not choose the worse and cheaper. Why should we? Are we giving up the title for next season? We have money. Spend it.
 
Few rumours Griezmann would be interested in a summer move to chelsea. Should of snapped him up last year before atletico did tbh

Problem for Chelsea isn't actually getting away with FFP. They did brilliantly by stacking with players just before FFP came into effect and now they can make profit each season just by offloading these.

Problem for Chelsea is that there isn't enough spare cash. Juve if they sell Pogba will surely want most of the fee straight away instead of installments just to afford all the players they want to sign. Of course there are ways to counter this by for example getting them to lower the price by player swap.

So in a way you actually don't have the money, but you have the revenue.
