First contract extension given to a manager in the Ambramovich era. For the first time in a long time, it looks like stability has returned to Chelsea. Fantastic news
 
Ironically, Chelsea probably look the most stable club managerial wise alongside Arsenal for the foreseeable future. Who would have thought that 2-3 years ago?

I hope he brings the CL in the near future though. We know it's not gonna be this season, cuz we dont have players for that.

Yes we are at least 3-4 players short of having a squad ready to contend for the CL

Thiabut Courtois has reportedly injured his right knee during the warm-up before Chelsea vs. Swansea.
 
My mate who is there saying it looked like he twisted it landing awkward doing some crossing practice.
 
It doesn't look to serious but I doubt he'll play. Anyway it's not like Begovic is a bad replacement, I have plenty of faith in him. The best news of the day is Diego Costa starts (Hopefully he doesn't pull up after 20 minutes).

Edit: Nevermind Courtois starts.
 
Shockingly bad miss from Gomis. Then a defo pen for Chelsea turned down.

Makings of a good one this. Swansea have come to attack.
