Also at the end of the day, she's a doctor (not just a physio) and the club's medical director. He knows nothing medically compared to her, and her job is the medical welfare, not the result. Needs to know the game? No she needs to treat the players.

100% correct. Also I don't see how he could think hazard didn't need any attention when he stayed down and showed no signs of getting up and being involved in free kick anytime soon.

I'm sure he's deflecting, but thats a really poor target of choice there.

Cesc fabregas seriously needs to up his game imo im starting to get more and more annoyed with him. Been average at best since Christmas last year.

It's no coincidence that he's struggled ever since we changed how we approached games. Now he has to pin himself back a lot more, and be positionally disciplined, and it's hurting his game (rather like it hurt a certain other Spaniard who played for us) Everyone seems to forget that the rampaging Chelsea we saw at the start of last season disappeared the second we lost to Spurs. Since then, we've looked grindy and uninspired unless Hazard turns on the style or Fabregas conjures something out of nothing.

So Jose had a go at Eva Carniero for doing here job, which is mental:

"“I wasn't happy with my medical staff because even if you are a medical doctor or secretary on the bench, you have to understand the game,” said Chelsea manager Mourinho.“If you go to the pitch to assist a player, then you must be sure that a player has a serious problem. I was sure that Eden didn't have a serious problem. He had a knock and was very tired.
“My medical department left me with eight fit outfield players in a counter attack after a set piece and we were worried we didn't have enough players left.”

One of you is a trained medical professional, one of you isn't. Ridiculous

Maybe she said no to Mourinho on a date

Yeah, alienating what is arguably the best medical team in the league, is just a fabulous idea Jose.

Imagine hazard, terry and matic getting long term injuries

Fabregas has been bang average for a while now so losing him won't be a heavy loss...

The same applies to any team. Imagine United without their best players.

Obviously it would be a heavy loss but I wouldn't say he's been average for a while now, he's been good. The problem for Fabregas is everyone expects him to be brilliant 24/7 because of his form in the first-half of last season.

Just something Chelsea fans will have to get use to. Was same at Arsenal and same at Barca very noticeable drop off after the new year in terms of assists and goals, all his previous mangers have said the same. Do think he is also hampered in Mou style of play imo.

I know his form drops off but the 5 assists he got in the second-half of last season is still good IMO, it's just not the 13 he got in the first-half. Anyway as long as he gets 10+ assists a season I couldn't give a s**t about his 'form'. But I wouldn't say he's hampered in our current system, he thrived for us last season in that same system and as everyone saw yesterday, our attacking display was brilliant, it was at the other end where we were poor.

Would not say your attacking play was brilliant and hasn't since you got a drumbing off Spurs last season. Ever since Cesc has been slightly deeper and less effective in an attacking sense. Seems to be the general opinion of all the Chelsea fans I know.

Perhaps brilliant was the wrong word, but still I thought in the first-half our attacking display was good. Obviously the red card changed everything and unfortunately that meant we had to sacrifice Oscar, who IMO was our best attacking player at the time. I would've still fancied us to win at 2-2 with eleven men, but like I said the red card change everything. Either way there was still plenty of positives and negatives to take away from the game.

Rest has hopefully done Oscar some good. Don't know imo after watching Chelsea pre season games and yesterday something just does not seem right. Still faves for the league but not outstanding faves for me.

Hopefully, I'm not going to get carried away though, he always performs against Swansea. No doubt it'll be tougher for us but we can certainly retain it, however at the moment we just seem to be lacking something. Having said that some players still looked a bit rusty yesterday so I'm remaining optimistic. But I'd be a lot more confident with the squad once we sign a LB and hopefully Stones.

Yeah they would be good signings, but is the case now nearer the end of the window that Everton will bleed you dry for Stones, reported 36m they want now and Augsberg for Baba want 30m euros. Both to much imo. I agree your buying potential though so kinda of worth the risk like we did with Shaw.

To be honest I don't think Everton are going to bleed us dry. Stones was always going to cost around £28m to £35m so it's a good deal IMO, but in the end I reckon we'll get him for £32m. Now Augsburg are going to bleed us dry because we're desperate and he's their best player, so it's understandable. I just hope we stop f**king about and get the deals done because although I'm confident we'll sign them, I'm also impatient.

Its no coincidence that you and Arsenal struggled imo. Neither have strengthened enough, I also expect City to be the same as they have weakened imo.

Think you are looking waaay too much into one game. Even united were lucky to come away with 3 points and they have strengthened the most

We will see. But even the pundits were saying the same thing about Chelsea and Mou not bringing in any signings as yet. Window still open mind.
