Why can't i tutor this player? (Andile Jali) http://vlep.pl/dc6jon.png
I can tutor other 21 years old players, players that im trying to let them take care of him play in same position, have better squad status and bigger reputation.

Can someone tell me what means "gained little" and that other stuff. I cant find a thread where I saw this last year. Or if you know a good thread about tutoring jsut post the link!

I was wondering about tutoring in general... What is the exact relation between both players' (Tutor and youngster) personality? Should the tutor always have better personality than the youngster or it doesn't really matter? And what are the personality ranks? None of my tutors really teach anything, it's always "gained little" or "a little", which doesn't really improves the youngster's game. Thanks

I really want M'baye Niang to develop and I am Man city. Who should I get to tutor him and I am playing him quite often. I am halfway through the first season. Thanks in advance :D

Thanks the only problem is the language barrier so who should I sign that speaks French? I wanted to tutor him with Tevez but he saw no benefit. I thought it would be good as his determination is 20. Thanks in advance

If I fail to assign any coach to a specific training category, does that mean I'll be left to train that category automatically or will the players go untrained? Thanks.

I;m having a brain freeze, can i increase a young player u21 and down, players teamwork and Workrate stats?

You can't train those attributes specifically but you can try training them in roles where those two attributes are important. Most CM roles for example rely a lot on teamwork and work rate, so you can try training them in that. If it's strikers or fullbacks for example you can train them in more defensive/all-round roles such as deep-lying striker, defensive winger etc.

Having a good tutor for these youngsters will also increase most of these mental stats. Good meaning a tutor with similar personality and media handling style - along with having higher determination than the youngster and having good teamwork, work rate etc.

who else do you have mate? he looks good
View attachment 287825 Looks like a young Fletch :)

Anyhows, regarding little platini over there.

1. I placed him in the first team with available for reserves option selected. I heard that putting prospects in the first team improves their stats ? Myth or not ?

2. I have him on intense mental and technicals. His physicals seem good to me. Good idea ?

1) not a myth, it was me who said that years ago :)
2) exactly mate, he does have good physical stats no doubt

3) I would get someone with good mental stats and good PPM's to tutor him.. maybe Van Persie or get an older player just for tutoring purposes on a low wage like 15k then set to after 30 games you will receive 200k and never play him :) I do that quite often with golden oldies :)

Help? :D

Hello Raikan! Thats a good guide you have there but im still confused, i snapped this 4.5 potential keeper regen from Argentina and also a German defender whom has also 4.5 potential. I also have a 4.5 star potential left back as well. I'm not sure how to train them. Here are the players

I have Reina, my only senior keeper after i sold off Doni and Jones. I got this Romanian keeper for backup but i think i'll let him rot in the reserves actually and i have another decent 4 star potential 16 year old german keeper which i am not fond of...

The question is, how would you train him and what is his weakness?

Also the defender problem.

I already have Danny Wilson who is 23 , Agger who is 30 and Kryriakos Papadopoulos who is also 23 as defenders. What should i do?

Left back regen

He is already class, but his competition for that position is Jack robinson! Should i just rotate jack with kevin?

Thanks for your opinion! :)

@ Newguy

Regarding the central defender, then he looks really good. I would say that he still lacks some elements to his game before he could be considered first choice in the start 11. First of all - he can play both left back and central defender, and with the current attributes he actually looks a bit more as a left back to me - although his accelleration and pace are poor, he has decent/good marking, tackling, anticipation, concentration, positioning and stamnia. If you want to train him as a full back I would focus on his quickness. If you want to train him as a central defender then then I would like to see more strength, and Decisions - moreover, he has a low team work, first touch and passing - with all that said - the lad is only 16 years old, so use him as a rotation player and/or against lesser opponents - compared to for example Kryriakos Papadopoulos, I would say he has a long way to go before he can outshine KP. Just by playing him as a rotation player for a couple of seasons would see a lot of his mental attributes increase significantly.

Regarding the left back - Kevin Speight, I am a bit more impressed. He is also 19 years old so have had a bit more time to develop. Great marking, tackling, acceleration, pace, positioning. I would have liked to see a bit more flair, but you can't train that since it is a mental attribute. But if you just plan to play him as a full back rather than a wing back you don't need that much flair. The same goes for anticpation and decisions - although those values of 12 and 13 are not poor. I would focus on training his passing, crossing and off the ball. Based on his current values, I would say that Kevin is ready to play a lot of first team football, and if his passing, crossing and off the ball increases, I would say you have a real world class Full back.
