First of i have to congratulate you on this guide
I have tested your database and tactics and i must say, there spot on!
My team really do play just like Arsenal
I have been playing this game for years and ive tried so hard to make a tactic like this, i have a few questions for you though.
When i make my Arsenal tactics i always use short passing, slow tempo and a narrow pitch becuase theoretically i hope you would agree thats how Arsenal play, they knock the ball around until an opening appears then they use there sublime one touch football to get into a position of scoring.
Now your tactic is the complete opposite of this, you use fast direct football with alot of width, dont get me wrong your tactic is far superior to any of mine becuase yours actually works but im just really stumped on how it works.
My guess is that the football manager game engine isnt as realistic as i thought and you have manipulated it and created this tactic which on paper should'nt play like Arsenal but somehow does.

Please dont get me wrong im not criticizing you im just very curious on how you made this, im very impressed and will continue with your tactic, maybe not the databass becasue although it is quite true, it does make it abit easy i think, i win most of my games and somehow feel like im cheating lol.

I have been playing the gunners ever since this post Started with it like T said then thought i would run a back to back with my tactics Byeing only players i feel would fit in
french And young players
I bought sandro and lukuku
Then in jan i bought dzeko ( only one i didnt think venger would bye)
I needed him as bentner sucked and was getting a lot of players injured
I am going back to Ts one again soon but haveing probems understanding the data base thing and byeing players
 
The xml gave me a crash dump. :S

Great guide though. ^^)
 
i downloaded the dial square database as a xml document and saved it in Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010\editor data then i load up fm and it isn't on the game help me please
 
Dennis Bergkamp actually features in the game, at least in my current save game.

There is supposedly a collaborative effort by some people at The Dugout to do this, at least for major teams, but i don't know how they're doing.

I have - it's very in-depth (as you can tell...) and the tactics are realistic. It looks as if the Arsenal team are really playing a times. I found that using the guide completely, including things like realistic transfers was more enjoyable as an Arsenal fan, and a Wenger fan!
