Absolutely not. I would splash another 7.5M and get Wellington Nem instead. Even if you pay the 7.5M difference as 48mts installments it's still a better deal for you in the long run.

In my experience (can't believe I've played just under 800hrs at this stupid game)

Ashley Young & Wellington Nem work out about as good as each other after a few seasons. Young is better to begin with but toonarmy0511 is quite right, Nem is worth the investment over 2/3 years factoring in wages.

Still can't bring myself to join the whole Wellington Nem 'love in' though.

Bernard (Atletico Mineiro), Kevin Volland (good up front but can be trained) should be affordable but you won't be able to get an absolutely 1st class left winger for £10M / £15M who is ready to slot straight in.

Try and get Bernard or Nem. Use them for a couple of seasons then onwards & upwards (if you have a spare £5M get Viktor Fischer asap - immense potential).

Other Info:Most i've ever spent on a player in fm is about £12m as i've always managed lower leagues. First oppurtunity to get a real quality player, but is he worth it at this price and on £51,000pw. Current highest earner is Destro on £29,000pw, in fact I only have 5 players earning over £20,000pw. As you've probably worked out I'm quite stingy with wages and fees, is Isco so good that he's worth this amount of money?? Also just bought Maher and have Hughes, Svensson, Selnaes, Adryan and Fer vying for those midfield spots. Obviously gonna have to sell a few so any ideas on that would help too!

Destro is a quality player! (When he's fit to play). Isco is also quality but for £27M & £50K wages, you can do better if you are just looking to splash it all on 1 player.

Quick aside, before breaking your wage structure, make sure none of your players have 'match highest earner' clause - can cause a world of pain...

On the other hand to people above's experience with him, he was fantastic first for my Arsenal team, then for my Luton team in the prem (That was about 2016/17 though)

I think it depends how you play him, alot of people try to play him as a Centre-mid, but he is only really effective as an AMC (Although I also played him swapping on the left wing both times!)

Playing flat 4-4-2 with AF and DLP. His stats so far: 19 games, 6 goals, 5 assists (January). If I sell him, I'll have to keep Cleverley due to homegrown rule (unfortunately I had to sell Fletcher because of his illness and Scholes and Giggs will probably retire). If I sell him, who can I get as a replacement? I don't know how much money I would get in 2nd season yet, but after January transfer window I have €15m left.

Sell and replace with Charlie Austin of Burnley.

Only sign if you can get him for 40-50k a week. Else there are cheeper young wingers out there.

Playing a 4222 with wingers no cam so i retrained him to cm not as good but still world class, thanks
