Thanks, for the reply, could you name a few players similar ?

goretzka?emre can?bertolacci?grassi?caskey?jordy clasie?these are young and in 2,3 season can replace cabaye.for now maybe take cabaye out late in the game first.

So, I am Swansea in the first transfer window. I need a ST, partly to rotate with Michu as a lone striker, partly to play alongside him and partly to play ahead of him (So Michu as AM, the new player as ST). I have a fairly large budget after some sales, and I just need to buy a CB after this!

Altogether, I have around £15m, and £120k a week to spend on a ST and CB!

Which of these strikers do you think I should go for?:

Player: Eduardo
Team you are managing: Swansea
Team who are buying/selling: Shahktar
Offer: £6m
Year: 2012/13
Other Info: £56k a week wages

Player: Benteke
Team you are managing: Swansea
Team who are buying/selling: Aston Villa
Offer: £9.75m
Year: 2012/13
Other Info: £50k a week, but he seems massively underrated, only 10 finishing! However, I could alter my tactics to take advantage of his areal ability. However, if I got him I wouldn't have much funds left for a CB...

Player: Austin
Team you are managing: Swansea
Team who are buying/selling: Burnley
Offer: £5.5m + Tate
Year: 2012/13
Other Info: £20k a week, but Tate is on £11k. However, a number of clubs are interested in Tate, and I reckon I could get around £3m for him...

Thanks in advance!

P.S. Any CB reccomendations? I had planned to get Caldwell, but they are wanting £6m, and he is a little on the slow side for my liking...

P.P.S this is on the 13.3.0 (january) database!

Buy eduardo, he is a class player that really suits swansea tactics.

As for center back i would recommend Ciarian Clarke he can be a beast of a player.

benteke no deal.austin is okay but try lower the offer.eduardo is class deal.

Cheers for the answers you two. I knew Eduardo was the best player but I had no past experience with him, plus I didn't know if he still had injury problems on the game?

Gone for Eduardo now, gonna have a look at Clarke, but I managed to nab Wanyama from under Arsenal's noses, so struggling for cash now :L

Player: Jack Rodwell
Aged: 23
Team you are managing: Manchester City
Team who are buying: Chelsea
Fee: £13M
Year: January 2015
Other Info: A solid performer when available, always seems to pick up stupid injuries just like he does in real life. A good player on the game injuries aside. Instead of stats increasing with training/tutoring he goes backwards as he's injured for weeks at a time maybe even months in some cases. Stats are still fluctuating between 13 and 15 in many areas. Professional personality, English, good central midfielder should I sell or do I keep him? As he is brilliant when he's available. Chelsea came to me with the bid as they have just changed managers and are very interested in Rodders. So I might be able to up that bid slightly.

Player: Edinson Cavani
Aged: 27
Team you are managing: Manchester City
Team who are buying: Paris Saint Germain
Fee: £30M
Year: January 2015
Other Info: I'm City so already have Sergio Aguero, Romelu Lukaku and Falcao. Edinson Cavani was meant to slot alongside Falcao as part of a domination period until my rising youngsters/regens managed to break through. Edinson Cavani has somewhat failed. Seems to be more of a Darius Vassell and Emile Heskey than a prolific goalscorer. Probably being played in the wrong system but whatever the reason the others manage to score. He has missed many sitters since signing in August 2012, now I wonder is it time to cash in whatever the eventual bid or not?

Player: Javi Martinez
Aged: 26
Team you are managing: Manchester City
Team who are selling: Bayern Munich
Fee: £32M
Year: January 2015
Other Info: A bit of a no brainer this one I feel. Up for transfer as he's annoyed that Bayern Munich denied him talks with other clubs who bid. Yaya Toure seems to be injured more than he is available these days. With an inexperienced midfield should I just go out and spend big on someone quality? Arturo Vidal aged 27 was another possibility but Juventus are playing hard ball. I do have cash to flaunt I just do not spend once I start to get regens in. I have suffered in the current season as I sold a lot of experienced and blooded some youngsters into my lineup.

If he is always injured, I'd deal for Rodwell. His value will go down quickly if his attributes keep dropping!

How much did you pay for Cavani, and when? If you bought him more than 2 seasons ago, for less than £30m, then you may aswell take the profit if he isn't performing. If you'd be making a loss on him, or you haven't had him for 2 seasons yet, then give him more time! He doesn't speak English, and South Americans generally seem to take longer to settle in!

I'd say no deal to Martinez. I played with him when I went to Bayern on one of my saves, and he didn't do particularly well. Vidal would be better, but I'd go for M'Vila or Sandro!!!

Cavani: Deal

Jack Rodwell: No Deal. On the ground of £13m isn't very much and you need English players of a decent callibre, however if you could raise that to £20m I'd sell him.

Martinez: No Deal. Personally I don't like paying that much for a player and there's definitely better options. Luiz Gustavo, Phill Jones or Romulo would be better and cheaper.

rodwell no deal , can get more than 13m.cavani is a deal as it seems u dont get much from him goal wise so better sell.javi martinez is great for me.play him as deep lying playmaker/support (busquets role) and 32m is cheap considering i bought him for 48m while managing real madrid 3rd season.

Player: Jack Wilshere

Offer: £18m
Year: 2014/15
Other Info: He is worth £13.75 in game, i think this is a really stupid question but, deal or no deal??

Quick reply would be great!!

Deal all day long mate, wilshere will be coming into his prime !
Make sure his stats weren't affected by injury's however that may explain how you are managing to nab him.
Hope it helped.

For me still a deal, i have seen screenshots of him when he is 27 with 19 passing, 20 technique , 20 flair , 20 creativity.
I say go for it before its too late !

Deal, and either work on his tackling, passing and long shots and get him to be a BBM, or work on his finishing and make him a Treq.!! :)

Cheers guys, turns out Arsenal changed their minds!! They now want £25m and he isnt unhappy anymore so i've got no chance!! Cheers anyway. What about the below deal?

Player: Paredes
Team you are managing: Reading
Team who are buying/selling: Boca
Offer: £10m
Year: 2014/15
Other Info: Not sure about this tbh, he is an AM but thats about it, SS below.

Player: Jack Butland
Team you are managing: Sheffield Wednesday
Team who are buying/selling: Birmingham
Offer: £14m
Year: 2015/16
Other Info: I have Cech but is slowly falling down

20M for schneiderlin is a deal. He's at barca on my tottenham save, i think they paid 25 for him. The only thing with him being 20M is you'll have a hard time recouping the money on him if and when a regen pushes him out. If you dont mind that, deffo get him hes awesome.

No deal for butland. I dont rate him enough for 14m to be worth it.
