they want 60-70 million manged to get them down to 30 mill
barca nd chelsea put offers in too
tbh i got a good centre back partner ship in Taylor and Muniesa but i have titarse shambles (hu has been pritty good) and rio ferdinand and spose could play rodwell there if need be.

he doesnt seem capable of jumping. no deal cos he'll probably get owned by strikers who can are tall and have aerial ability (from experience)

I'm Rangers, 3rd season.

Player - Emmanuel Adebayor
Club Selling - Man City
Price - £7m! (he's transfer listed with this asking price, had my offer accepted and now negotiating personal terms)

I know what you're thinking. Great deal right? But I already have Artem Milevskiy, Roque Santa Cruz, Vagner Love, Mateja Kezman, John Fleck and Valeri Bojinov who are all on scoring form. I'm worried bringing in a new striker could upset things. I'm already playing Fleck out of position and putting Bojinov on the right wing from time to time just to keep everyone happy. So the real question is, would you sell Vagner Love and replace him with Adebayor? and if so, how much should i ask for for VL?

(I actually paid £30 million over 48 months, which i really dont have for V.L, I cant believe my board allowed it! but he's flopped)

No deal Healey! I believe Adebayor would asked for high amount of wages.
 
Cheers for the quick reply mate. He is indeed looking for big wages. I have £89,000 p/m that i can offer him but he wants £179,000. I just can't get close to that and Man City haven't said they'll pay the difference. Any advice on selling Vagner Love? He's crippling my team on wages too and doesn't look like scoring any time soon. I might just sell V.L and let Adebayor go. Apart from that stupidly large transfer fee i'm a fan of stealing players on the cheap and from £3.4m to £7m is a fairly big jump. Might wait and get Lukaku on a free transfer next year...
 
Try transfer listing and offering him to clubs at his current price right now. If there are no clubs willing to offer, try lowering your asking price.

After some negotiations Barcelona offered 13,25m € + 13,25m € over 48 months + 16,75m € after 50 games, a total of 43 250 000 € for Darren Flecther. I'm Man U and it's the start of season 2013/2014.

Should be no brainer, but Im not sure who I should replace him with that would do the job as well as him. Using him as Box-to-box / ball winning backup for Sulley Muntari.

he should be **** old if im correct. deal on any day.

try looking out for regens and other replacements like sandro, adrien, james milner (quality on the centre as well), joao moutinho, miguel veloso, marco verratti, angelo palombo, kwandro asamoah

Right, managed to sell Kezman for £500k and Mutu retired so that freed up some wages. I signed Lukaku on a free and also managed to get Ronaldinho on a free, Matej Delac on loan (McGregor wants to leave and Areola isnt ready yet), and Adebayor finally agreed to sign for me with Man City listing him at £2.7m and paying half his wages!! Can't believe my luck.

Hes been looking to leave for a while now. I'm getting a bit sick of his whinging. He's fallen out with a few of my starting 11 and he's just missed a training session. I pity the foo' who misses one of my training sessions. Ive got Areola but i don't think hes quite ready and i've just brought in Delac on loan but again hes a bit young so i might try and loan a more established keeper or sign David James on a free. What do you reckon i should flog him at though? Hes 30 and worth about £3.9m.

offer him at double his value first and then slowly reduce if no one bids for him

Mid-season at Season 3 (Age: 28)

Background, Middlesbourgh is dirt poor and I am trying to find a decent English defender who can still play 3-4 good seasons for me. I have David Wheather, Sean St Ledger, Sergiy Kristov as my defenders, with a young Rhy Williams as cover (selling him at the first opportunity).

It was surprising how Dawson was in the transfer list, and even funnier how he languished in the reserves and funny enough that Tottenham sold him. I managed to finish 2nd in the EPL during my 2nd season after promotion to the Premier league with some extremely lucky fixtures going my way. I am currently in 3rd at mid season, 7 points ahead of the 4th place Everton (darn you Man City and Chelsea!). No chance of me winning the two above me though. My side lacks quality in general except that I got Akinfeev for a decently cheap price of 14 mil pounds (he requested a transfer, no one surprisingly wanted to buy him, I used up half of my transfer for him).
