It was not clear which team the fan supported, while Newcastle manager Alan Pardew said he was not aware of the incident.

Or someone pretending to be a fan of either team......either way. scumbag

He punched the N.3 while he was talking to young kids. He hit him to take the Newcastle shirt. Awful.

shame really, i think of newcastle fans as good people. although i won't let one piece of scum blind my judgement.

What was awesome?

And if you think flooring a player is awesome, your a frickin moron

Christ knows. Absolute moron is only thing I can think of to describe him

aye it was Laird. hope the piece of scum who floored never sets foot in a stadium again. Blatantly not a proper football supporter. Hope he's not a parent either
Oh, Laird used to play us at Argyle, so I hope he's okay. Also, the scum that punched him, should be charged and put to jail :)

Laird shrugged it off apparently. Saying he was glad his head was so big or something lol. Don't know how he stayed so cool

The Stevenage fans singing "Dale Cavese". What an amazing chant !

This punch incident reminds me of when Shaun Rigg's jaw was broken against Barrow. A disgraceful scene in what was probably the clubs biggest game for a while....

True, to me , hes not a Man utd fan

I'm hoping in a strange sort of way, he's just trying to wind people up and get a reaction, to make up for his non-existant ***-life. If he did find it "awesome", well he's obviously a complete *****. But I doubt he is a fan myself. Real football fans would never condone that sort of behaviour from any such ********.
