Great story mate! Hope you achieve your premier league ambitions!

Thanks mate. No idea if it will happen as I have never gone from bottom to top division ever in FM. But there it hope of making this my first!

Durrington FC Move Into Play-off Zone

It was a good month for Durrington FC as they moved into the play-off zone early in the season. After starting the month with a loss, they then went unbeaten in their remaining four games, winning three of them and drawing one too. They had an excellent three-nil victory over Havant & W, and a three-one victory over Bath.

Durrington FC 0 - 1 Sutton Utd

View attachment 383399

We were perhaps lucky not to lose this game by more. Sutton Utd dominated us all game, and I am happy this game didnt affect our goal difference too badly.

Havant & W 0 - 3 Durrington FC

View attachment 383398

A really good three-nil win for us put us in a good position in the league. Jordan Goddard once again has a superb game, as well as new signing Omer Riza getting his first goal for the club.

Hayes & Yeading 0 - 1 Durrington FC

View attachment 383397

I do wonder how we were unable to score more than just the one goal in this match, but at the end of the day, a win is a win. Three points more towards our target.

Wealdstone 1 - 1 Durrington FC

View attachment 383396

Another game in which we dominated, but we only managed to get one goal. Alex Parsons (Who I know Irl :P), got the goal for Wealdstone, and new signing Matt Harrold got our goal in this game.

Durrington FC 3 - 1 Bath

View attachment 383395

Another good game for us ended three-one. It was one of them annoying games when I had lots of injuries, but they were all match only injuries. Riza got his second goal for the club, and Dinsmore also got his second of the season.

These are the two new signings I have bought in. I am hoping they will bang in a few goals this season!

Durrington FC Move Second Position

Durrington FC set a new club record of six games in a row undefeated, before they were beaten two-nil by Dover. It was the only game they failed to score in this month though, and managed to score thirteen goals in the other three games. They also set a new record for their biggest ever win, which was a six-one victory over Maidenhead. They also had a superb five-two win over Bishop's Stortford.

Durrington FC 2 - 0 Eastbourne Boro

View attachment 382969

A good start to the month with a two-nil victory over Eastbourne Boro. Jordan Goddard was once again in good form, finding the net once again. I am hoping to sign him on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Bishop's Stortford 2 - 5 Durrington FC

View attachment 382968

Another one of them superb games for us in front of goal. Goddard yet again got our first goal, taking his tally to three for the season. Matt Harrold got himself two goals, as well as Egbeku and Abdullahi.

Durrington FC 0 - 2 Dover

View attachment 382967

Perhaps some overconfidence crept into the camp before this game after our we set a new club record of six games unbeaten. We were very poor in front of goal.

Maidenhead 1 - 6 Durrington FC

View attachment 382966

What an amazing game! A six-one thrashing of Maidenhead. It as also a new club record for our highest ever win. It was also quite amazing that every goal was scored by a different player. Egbeku got his sixth goal of the season and Harrold got his forth.

Durrington FC Take Pole Position

Durrington FC had another excellent month which saw them move up into first position in the league. They won three of their four league game this month. The disappointment of the month though was losing to the FA Trophy Qualifying Round against Crawley Down. Rollinson was very disappointed after the game, as he felt the game should have been easily winnable.

Durrington FC 4 - 2 Staines

View attachment 382957

Elyon Egbeku. What a player! He was on fire this game, and got himself a hattrick in just twenty four minutes. Goddard also got himself another goal.

Oxford City 1 - 4 Durrington FC

View attachment 382952

Egbeku once again got himself on the score sheet twice. He seems to be after the top goalscorer award this season. This match moved us up into first position in the league. Hopefully we can make it our own for the rest of the season!

Crawley Down 1 - 2 Durrington FC
(FA Trophy 3rd Qual. Round)

View attachment 382948

I was very disappointed to go out of the FA Trophy at this stage. I was hoping to at least reach the second round of the cup, as the prize money would be very helpful for the club.

Whitehawk 3 - 2 Durrington FC

View attachment 382946

Again it was very disappointing we could not bounce back from the last game. We were very sloppy at the back, gifting Whitehawk several chances who did well to take them.

Durrington FC 3 - 0 Kingstonian

View attachment 382945

Egbeku once again got himself on the score sheet which has took his total to twelve goals in the league. The result left us two points clear in first at the end of the month.

woahh top of the league........... BE THE CHAMPIONS!!!

THIS IS DURRINGTON!!!!

Durrington FC Remain Two Points Clear

Despite going the month unbeaten, it was perhaps a disappointing one for Durrington FC. They drew three of their five games, but still managed to hold onto top spot in the table. If they had been able to turn them draws into wins they would be several points clear at the top of the table, but as it stands, they are only two clear. They have once again gone six games unbeaten though, so if they get a win in their next game against Dorchester they will set another new club record.

Welling 2 - 2 Durrington FC

View attachment 382921

We started month with a good draw. The game we very even and a draw was perhaps the fair result in the end.

Durrington FC 1 - 1 Boreham Wood

View attachment 382919

This draw was a very disappointing one though. It was one of the FM "You take ten shots, we take one and we score" games. Very frustrating.

Gloucester 1 - 2 Durrington FC

View attachment 382918

We got back to winning ways with a good win against Gloucester. We seem to be making a habit of conseeding first though, which I would really like to change.

Durrington FC 2 - 0 Bromley

View attachment 382917

Egbeku got his fourteenth goal of the season, which also made him the leagues top goalscorer. Omer Riza also got his third goal of the season.

Concord Rangers 1 - 1 Durrington FC

View attachment 382916

This match showed just how unpredictable the lower leagues can be. Concord Rangers, last years play-off finalists, are currently sitting in sixteenth place, two points away from the relegation zone, put on a good performance to prevent us getting a win in a game I think we should have won.

Does Anyone Want To Win The League?

Its not been a great month for Durrington FC, having won half their games, and losing the other half. Yet, they have only dropped down to second place, only one point below the leaders. They clubs board also picked their first two games of the month to be "fan day" matches. The lost their first one three-two against Dorchester, but their second one was a superb six-one victory! They also had one of their worst matches ever, a five-nil loss against Basingstoke.

Durrington FC 2 - 3 Dorchester

View attachment 382900

The board decided to make this match a "fan day" match, but unfortunately we were unable to win. Still, the fans got a cracking match to watch, but as a manager, I would have preferred a boring one-nil.

Durrington FC 6 - 1 Tonbridge

View attachment 382899

The board also decided to make this game a "fan day" and what a game to pick! All the players were on fire. Harrold got himself a hattrick, and could have got himself four, but he managed to miss a penalty.

Basingstoke 5 - 0 Durrington FC

View attachment 382898

I have nothing to say about this match...

Durrington FC 3 - 1 Havant & W

View attachment 382897

We managed to put on a good performance after the previous game. O'Callaghan had a superb game, getting the assists for all the goals.

Sutton Utd 3 - 2 Durrington FC

View attachment 382895

Win, loss, win, loss...The inconsistency is returning. It so frustrating seeing your team pulling of an amazing six-one victory, then struggling to defend the next.

Durrington FC 3 - 2 Hayes & Yeading

View attachment 382894

We ended the month with a win. Again we are starting to conseed too many goals for my liking. Hoping the consistency returns next month.

Durrington FC Move Back Into First

Durrington FC had a great month reclaimed their spot at the top of the table. Four wins and one loss have left them one point ahead of second placed Dover. Egbeku was once again hitting up the scoring chart, scoring four goals. He is now joint first top scorer in the league, with Harrold on one goal less just behind him.

Durrington FC 4 - 2 Wealdstone

View attachment 382850

Egbeku once again got a hattrick in a game in which he played superbly. Goddard also had a superb game, getting two assists in this match.

Bath 1 - 2 Durrington FC

View attachment 382848

It was Matt Harrolds turn to take the spotlight in this match. The rest of the team didnt have the best of game, but Harrold managed to get a win for us.

Eastbourne Boro 0 - 2 Durrington FC

View attachment 382845

Harrold got himself another goal in this game, and O'Callaghan got a goal and an assist. Unfortunately Goddard picked up an injury in this game which will keep him out for almost two months.

Dover 3 - 1 Durrington FC

View attachment 382842

We got out done by the Moses bridge in this game. It was going to be a tricky game against then third placed Dover, and we could have moved further ahead in the lead, but we were unable to do that.

Durrington FC 3 - 2 Bishop's Stortford

View attachment 382841

We ended the month with a good win. Harrold got added another two goals to his tally, taking his total up to nineteen goals.

Durrington FC One Point Away From a Guaranteed Play-off Spot

Durrington FC are just one point away from booking their place in the Play-offs this year. With five games left, it looking extremely likely. The championship is still all to play for, with Durrington FC sitting in second place, one point behind leaders Dover. Again Durrington FC had a mixed month, winning twice, drawing once and losing once.

Durrington FC 1 - 0 Maidenhead

View attachment 382832

A match of really poor quality, but I will take it as long as we get a win. It took a while, but we managed to score in the end.

Staines 3 - 2 Durrington FC

View attachment 382831

A very frustrating game for us, as not only did we managed to let the lead slip, twice, but we also lost out to a last minute goal.

Durrington FC 2 - 2 Oxford City

View attachment 382830

Another frustrating game which we werent able to see out. After we took a two-nil lead, things looked plain sailing, but two mistakes cost us badly.

Durrington FC 2 - 1 Whitehawk

View attachment 382829

Another pretty close game, but this time it was us who managed to get a late winner. I decided to give youth player Hakan Iskemleci his debut from the bench, and he repaid the faith I had in him by popping up with the winner.

Durrington FC Crowned Champions!

Its a proud day for everyone associated with Durrington FC. The Skrill South went all the way down to the wire, but a two-two draw on the final day of the season proved to be enough for Durrington FC to win the title. They were predicted mid-table at the beginning of the season, but they have proved the bookies wrong to come out on the top of the table.

Boreham Wood 4 - 3 Durrington FC

View attachment 382827

Another high scoring game, but one that went against us. Not the result we wanted when we are chasing the title, but we were still top of the table after this game.

Bromley 2 - 3 Durrington FC

View attachment 382826

With Harrold out with injury, I put Iskemleci in for his first ever start, and once again he didnt disappoint. Two goals from him as well as an assist helped us to a three-two victory.

Durrington FC 3 - 1 Welling

View attachment 382825

One more win, and we will be champions! Iskemleci one again got himself on the score sheet, and O'Callaghan got two goals.

Durrington FC 2 - 2 Gloucester

View attachment 382824

Hakan Iskemleci. What a player! Three starts, three sub appearances, seven goals! Cannot wait to see him develop. The result was disappointing, but fortunately second placed Dover were beaten by twenty first placed Maidenstone.

Durrington FC End Of Season Awards

Its been a superb season, in which everyone has contributed towards winning the league. At the beginning of the season, I wanted to try and sneak a play-off position, but I never imagined we would win it. We were helped massively though by other teams constantly slipping up, but we did put on some very good performances at times this season.

Defender Of The Year

View attachment 382718

Michael Bartlam was the pick of the defenders this year. He had a good season, and also managed to get himself a goal.

Jordan Goddard won both the Durrington FC Midfielder Of The Year, as well as Skrill South Player of The Season. Goddard was in fine for all season, scoring eleven goals and getting twenty assists. His contract at parent club Bristol Rovers expires in the summer, so I am really hopeful I can sign him on a free transfer as he has been superb over the last two seasons.

Elyon Egbeku was in fine goalscoring form this season, and was not only the clubs top scorer, but also the top scorer in the league. He finished one goal ahead of Uwezu who finish second top scorer. Egbeku has now scored Forty two goal since joining the club. He was also named fans player of the year.

Notable Mention

View attachment 382712

I had to mention Hakan Iskemleci in these awards. I threw him into the team at the most important time of the campaign, and he didnt disappoint. I now have high hopes for him next season.

Pre-season Thoughts

So, its time to take on the Skrill Premier Division. We are predicted to finish twenty second place, but I feel we can do much better than that. The quality gap between the division is not too big, so I think we can achieve mid-table safety. I was please we managed to bring in Jordan Goddard on a free transfer. I also bought in another two players, but the squad remains largely the same as last season, bar a few players who were released.

Nice season, what are Hakan Iskemleci's current ability and potential ability.

Nice season, what are Hakan Iskemleci's current ability and potential ability.

Not sure what he actual numbers are, but according to my assistant he has 3* CA and 5* PA. It also says he believes that he has the potential to be a leading Skrill Prem striker in the future.

Excellent Start For Durrington FC

It been almost the perfect start for Durrington FC in their first ever season in the Skrill Premier. They went undefeated in all six game they played, and are sitting at the top of the table. Oddly they have been much better on the road so far, winning all their away games. They have drawn two of their home games and won the other. Rollinson decided to change the pitch size at Lamb Park, so his players may still be adapting to the change.

Basingstoke 0 - 2 Durrington FC

View attachment 382318

Elyon Egbeku looks like he is after the top goalscorer award again, and he got of the mark with two goals in the opening game. A good way to start life in a new league too.

Durrington FC 1 - 1 Barnet

View attachment 382314

A very dry game which ended in late drama. Barnet got a goal in the eighty forth minute, only for Davis to equalise in the ninety second minute to get us a point from the game.

Sailsbury 1 - 5 Durrington FC

View attachment 382313

Another game which we thumped our opponents. O'Callaghan stole the show with two goals and one assists. New signing Alex Parsons got his first goal for the club, while Egbeku took his tally for the season to three.

Durrington FC 2 - 2 Morecambe

View attachment 382312

We made things hard for ourselves this game by giving away two penalties. Fortunately we managed to come from two goals down to get a draw and take us to four games unbeaten.

Aldershot 1 - 3 Durrington FC

View attachment 382311

Another great away performance, but it was slightly soured by the red card to Egbeku. The Nigerian lost his head and hacked down the defender, and will now miss the next three games. Goddard once again put in an excellent performance.

Durrington FC 1 - 0 Dag & Red

We left it late, but we finally got our first home game of the season. This game took our unbeaten run to six games (nine if you count the three unbeaten from last season)

I have to say I did not expect to see us here at any stage this season! Hopefully we can keep this excellent for up.

top that too in a higher league, champions for the second season? ;)

Terrible, Terrible Month For Durrington FC

After their amazing start to the season, things took a horrible turn for Durrington FC, having gone on a winless run of six games. It was only ended by a win in their final game of the month against Kidderminster. To make things even worse for Durrington FC though, Elyon Egbeku broke his ankle in that game, and will be out for up to five months. They have now plummeted to twelfth position.

I genuinely have nothing to add this month, so here are the screenshots.
