Can anyone recommend a decent keeper? I called up one of the youngsters, and he was doing well, but recently he's started leaking goals :(

I'd never play someone with such low workrate, stamina and decisions at CM in a 4-2-4 but maybe it will work if you have a really good, attacking minded team with high ball possession and CCC's rate.

GK: depends on your database. I had found a good uruguayan/italian keeper named Marcelo Belmonte. If he's not in your game, then sign Vincent Degré, young fench GK available for free.
 
Just started it on 11.3. Made some good signings and the team "should" dominate the league. I tried to sign Degre but he went to this French club so I got this keeper who's equally as good.

Looks like he would be more than decent in C1 as well.

so how's your career going? did you dominate like you "should" ? ;)

Quite a few actually, you can check my season resumes (see end of OP for a map) to see my whole transfers history...

Best you can find first season: Pecorari (DC); Innocenti (DR); De Ascentis (MC); Depetris (AMC); D.Conti (ST)

Generally look for unattached italian veterans there are some very good ones, and also for cheap south american players with EU passport

Thank you for your opinion. I just wonder how people find good ones for cheap south american player with EU passport. I feel that it's a little difficult. People should spend a lot of time and energy on the task.

You're welcome!

I reckon it's not the easiest task, and also depends on the size of your database (personally I like to load at least international players and top clubs from south america). This is how I usually find them: hire coaches or scouts with knowledge of South america (focus on argentina, brazil, uruguay) then use filters to find players based in south america who have EU nationality.

Or I rely on my real life knowledge ;)

There are some really good players there who are surprisingly willing to join a lower side like San Marino! Best I've ever signed in C2 are Miguel Cevasco from Peru and Rodrigo Pastorini from Uruguay (available for free in previous patch). Feel free to ask for more!

got bored of my last save,so i decided to take this challenge,seems a nice one.I spent some hours for the transfers,here u can view them:

Halfway to first season,things are going pretty average,i have a 6 points advantage in the league,but out of both cups.
Will update as soon as possible.

I'm spotting some nice signings there :)

will gladly follow your updates, and actually I may go back playing my San Marino save as well... all my other saves just don't do for me ;)
 
might have let the mighty Titani down, deleted the save!

will resart in about a week i feel.
 
I just got Tre Fiori into the Champions League Group Stages (2016/17) but finished last:L I got sacked from the San Marino job where at best, i got San Marino to 104th in the rankings thanks to a shock win over Poland :P

to take a sammarinese club into CL group stages is really something! do you ever get good regens from your youth setup? I'd like to see some of them!

104th sounds great for the NT, not to mention a win against Poland. My best results so far have been a 0-0 draw with Moldova and a 5-2 win vs American Samoa XD

How the **** you got sacked!? the FA never seems to sack anyone in my game and rightly so (in my first save they kept their manager for about 8 years before I got him out adding a new one), now I'm worried ;)

I've just reprised my 11.3 save, I finally realised I can't play anything else but SM challenge until FM12 8-|
 
Found my old file and I'm stuck in Seria C1 atm.

Will do my best for the Titani.
 
Right I've been going nearly a season now and the star player I recommend is:

Injured now but was banging them in! Free transfer too.

IRL serie C2 playoff start today for the mighty Titani. Hope they get promotion so we can start from C1 in FM12 XD

why can't they have a season like this...
