Guys me and my wee bro play FM10, the thing is we both have 10.3 update but when we start a new game my little bro always gets more money to spend than my self

Example: He gets 18mil for avoid relegation and with sunderland and i get 4 mil can someone please help me out i dont want to lose out on transfer money.. Have i got wrong patch or something???

Ok, I need quick help. I am in my first season with southhampton, and I play with a very deep defensive line since all my defenders lack in pace ( my best two defenders, Jaidi who was in the club from the start, and Trianos Dellas) and I have my goalie, Kelvin Davis. I started well, with 6 clean sheets in 7 matches, but since then it has been horrible! I have not kept a cleen sheet for 3 months until late december when I finally got one playing against Exter. But despite all this, I am at the top of the table, even though 10 points were deducted, and I have been scoring for fun.

Still I am looking for a good goalkeeper who would be able to play well in the championship, so can anyone name me a good goalkeeper for my southhampton? cheers!.

oh also, does anyone know about Alexandr Prudnikov, will I be able to sign him, or will it fail for work permit, and is he good in FM2010?

I am managing Arsenal and I have been selling important players such as, Bendtner and Eduardo and Eboue.

I also had to loan out some of my backup and try and make the other club pay there wages in full in an attempt to lower my wage as I was losing to much money every month. I'm in my 2nd season.

Can anyone help me to choose if I should sell anyone else or do something else, because I am down to about 19 players good enough for my 1st team.

I'm losing around 8 million a month recently and my gate receipts falls short on covering my player wages. I've got around £45 million for transfer budget if anyone needs that information, I don't think anyone would but just in case.

This image shows my players and there contracts.

This image shows my expenditure.

Could you post a pic of your income and of the summary please mate.

Your board made a dividend payment last season and you've got a fairly big transfer budget, so I can't imagine things are that bad. Monthly losses are irrelevant. It's whether or not you're making a loss over the course of a season.

I was just wondering, is there such thing as a good counter attacking formation? Or a specific formation?
Thanks

I made a total profit of £40 million because in turn I sold alot of players and on top I am losing £8 million a month so maybe I'll only have 5 months left then I will be losing money.
My aim was to make a steady monthly profit so I knew how much money I could spend a month. I am trying to make more money than actualy winning but the tactics I use with the players work great and I won the triple last year, (FA, Premier League, Champions League after almunia saved 3 penalties in a row against Inter :$)

If you want help, give the info which will allow me to help :)

Expenditure means nothing on its own. Your board paid out a £15m dividend last season. That means you made a healthy profit. You have a £45m transfer kitty. That means you're not in dire financial problems. You may be losing money every month, but that's because most of your income comes in at the start and end of the season so it might not be important. Trying to help but not got info needed to make judgement :)

But you've also spent £65m in transfer fees plus £17 million in signing on fees in under two seasons. Only way I can figure out how much you need to trim down is by seeing what your income is over a season. And to be honest, it's not so much a case of trimming the wages as having to sell off some of your best players (or accept the offers) to replace the £82 million you've spent which the club can't afford.... Once the loan debt is paid off (which is costing you £60 million a year) then you can stretch your legs a bit more.

Your wages are £5 million a month (players and staff but excluding bonuses), you're spending £15 million a month. If, as you say, you're losing £8 million a month, you could go amateur and not pay anyone a salary and you'd still be losing £3 million a month.... Need the income figures ;)

Okay so I did the screenshots all over so it's updated and sligtly more accurate and I have split it into 5:

Summary
Expenditure (Top)
Expenditure (Bottom)
Income (Top)
Income (Bottom)

It wouldn't fit so I split it up, however it overlaps slightly.
My main problem is getting a steady (even if minimal) monthly profit, so if you could help me with that or just advise me how to avoid losing money at the end of the season.

Cheers mate.

You're fine as long as you keep a grip of your transfer spending and don't let your wages get too much higher from where they are (they're down £3 million a season from last season in any case - but that's only one player on 60k a week...). Last season you only made a loss because of the dividend paid out to the board (naughty of them for paying it and making you take a loss as a result). Or you can look at it as you spent about £13 million more than you should have done in the transfer market - or even better you can look at it as the club has a lot of money in the bank and £13m losses every now and again aren't a problem. ;)

Arsenal have very healthy cash reserves which should see you through a couple of bad seasons providing you don't blow it on buying Roodle Von Nostleshrink or whoever for 80m on 300k a week. :D

You'll never be able to get your club running at a profit every month because of how football money comes in - you get a huge chunk of your season ticket sales up front at the start of the season, you get a huge chunk of your prize money and tv money at the end. Give up on that idea already :)

Once the loan debt is paid off, you'll have money to burn, but as it is looks like you're doing a cracking job with the Gooners both with the finances and with the on pitch stuff. Nothing to worry about at all right now.

you may both be starting with different manager reputations at the start of the game. If they are both set to "international footballer" as past experience, then both you and your bro should start with the highest amount available for the corresponding seasonal expectation. If this is not the case, then i strongly suspect that either yourself, or your brother has edited the database, or is using a pre=made, downloaded database from a site such as this. To check, when starting a new game, and the window appears to select the patch (10.3 etc), click in the change box at the bottom of the window. Once you click confirm a new window will open. Make sure all possible selections are unticked, before starting the game as normal. Do this for both yours, and your brothers games.

Little bit new to this site so forgive me but heres my line up, I wont name subs becasue I use rotation. I am Chelsea nearing the end of my second season won everything my first season and this season I have only failed to win FA Cup so far. I will be playing Real Madrid in the Champion league final next couple of days. I play 41221

GK: Cech
DL: Zhirkov
DC: Carvalho
DC: Terry
DR: Bosingwa
DMC : Mikel
MC: Essien
MC: Lampard
AML: Eila
AMR: Sanchez
ST: Drogba

Other players I have brought for rotation are Luis Gustavo, Ivan Rakitic, Mileskysi ( cant spell it) and Lukaku. Brought a few young player with potential like Mario from Villareal and Mateo Musacciho but none really god enough to get into my first team. I will be signing Afellay on a free next season and Cattermole for 10.75 mil. Jo Hart is my sub keeper. I have invested in quite a few young prospect that play for my reserves or under 18s such as Sanogo and Mats Rits. Sold Ashley Cole for 23 million so I could afford to buy Lukaku for 22.5 million.

Sub bench is normally

Hart
Ivanovic
Luis Gustavo
Kalou
J.Cole
Mileskyi

Any advice or guidence would be greatly appreciated, really need to start looking for some defenders preferable young to replace my entire back four slowly one by one. Cheers!

Thanks, you have really helped. So now since the monthly profit is out of the way, I'm going to focus on preserving the profit I still have from the season tickets.

Go to your scout reports and see what they say, but I suppose if he is a good defender on scout reports then start playing him, however is they say he is good enough for Coca Cola Championship then I would say get another defender, go on squad and click on loan avaliability for a defender.

Within a week or less your Assistant should bring you a handful of good defenders to loan. Get one of them for a year and you should be set.

So I posted this already in detail but my computer messed up so it didn't work, so I'm going to do it again but summarise it now.

Sell any of the defenders that are older than 30/31, excluding Terry, as they aren't getting better but are awaiting their attribute decrease. Also this would be the best time because the value is still pretty high.

RB: Kyle Walker/Kyle Naughton. Either one is a good LB but I can't remember which one. I think it's Walker but not sure, he plays for England youth but then again so do both so you would need to figure out which one.

LB: Keiran Gibbs of Arsenal is a good prospect for the future.

CB: Otamendi and Zapata

From the looks of it you have a similar formation to me with my Arsenal. Alex Song is a good backup for defense but I doubt Djourou is good enough for arsenal or what you are trying to achieve. I would say sell him for about 5-6 million and let him be transfer and loan listed so you should easily get people wanting to loan him with a future fee, and also paying most of his wages.

A replacement for him could easily be Song but keep an eye on the transfer market and if a decent cheap defender gets there then get him. You could also get Otamendi who will not dissapoint you but should be played with Vermaelan due to his bad passing and will only cost around 6-10 million if you can bargain with his team. He's young and very good but work permit might be a problem.

Other than that you have a very balanced team. And I have tried to find lots of flaws but there isn't any other than hopefully Vela and Ramsey get first team chances often or against weaker sides,

Lucas, Toni Kroos, Ngog, Sander Danes and Thomas Ince

Lucas, Toni Kroos, David Ngog, Sander Danes ( never hear about him) and Thomas Ince

They are all beasting on my liverpool team that I have been managing for almost 5-7 years..

Sander Danes- GK
- He's spanish Gk, but born in Holland
- This is guy is a beast at gk
- Never hear about him.

D. Ngog- CF
- Beast and cover for torres

Lucas- Mid
- I have never hear many people mention this guy in a forum and thread before. Just want to let you guys know that if you give him the chance he'll become a star. In my game he's a star.

Toni Kroos- Mid
- This guy is special
- In my game, he is uncapped for germany I don't know why.

Thomas Ince- Mid and CF
- Dad was a legend for liverpool and he's becoming a legend in my game
I have never hear many people mention him in forum and thread before same as lucas.

I'm going to attached some shot screen and btw I'm using Dan's training..
