Well being Bradford which is League 2, I don't think you can be too picky with your players since you don't have billions in the bank so I would trust his judgement.

However, his JPA isn't great so don't base your team around it. I especially mean this if you are looking at a player that you want to sell, don't listen to your Assistant Manager's point of view. You make the decision when selling.

Yes, I decide who to sell. My scouts ferret out potential free transfers (transfer budget = $16K! :@)

Attribute masking is off, so I can judge by the attributes I guess. Anyway, I am only looking for cheap talent, not future stars. Thanks! :)

ohh kool so i have to wait till it is approved, how long does that take ??

How do I scout my next opponent? Is there a way to scout the whole team and its tactics?

i have a major problem i cant play the game with the new patch, always comes some activation key error who tells me to download some netframe **** which i have done but it still doesn't work...i installed the game normally and i have the cd.

Will it be a problem if my wage budget is exceeded slightly? I am thinking of signing a new CM/DM/ST an my wage bill will go to $34300 p/w while my limit is $33500.

Well, you'll be losing that money every month - depends whether you see that as a problem.

No, I have enough of a monthly profit to cover it. What I meant was as to whether the Board will have a problem with my exceeding the wage budget slightly. And if so, how much of a problem will it be?

I really want a good MC/ST to cover my tactical deficiency while I learn the basics of the game. I can release a player on free if necessary ie if the board has a problem. But I would prefer to not to it as it would cost me a lot of money.

The board won't be happy for sure since the expectations, wage budget and transfer budget are the basics they want you to achieve atleast. They won't be sympathetic either.

I would adjust your budget from the Board Room screen since a little bit like that won't destroy your finances.

When players are injured, should they be rested or trained?

Thanks! Unfortunately, there is nothing left to adjust as I already burnt my 16k transfer kitty. I guess I will have to release someone and take a 100k hit!

If they are seriously injured they will be out of training already, but when they heal a bit and are within 1 week of getting rid of the injury they will begin training. I wouldn't bother resting them, but after there injury is gone I would keep them off the first team to regain their condition.

Thanks again :)

Hi, I was just wondering, with this rule in the screenshot:

Does that mean, he has to have played for an English club before or I have to buy him from another English club. Because I don't know weither he would add as a player to that rule?

Thanks ;)

A home grown player is defined as one who, irrespective of his nationality or age, has been registered with any club affiliated to the Football Association or the Welsh Football Association for a period, continuous or not, of three entire seasons or 36 months prior to his 21st birthday (or the end of the season during which he turns 21).

So would he add to a player trained by a club in England? Although he's playing for Wolfsburg, but he used to play for Tottenham.

It depends how long he has been at Tottenham for. If he was there for 3 seasons before he turns 21 then yes he is classified at 'Home Grown'.

You right click on any of the buttons and it should, if I remember correctly, show a drop down menu where you can click things like Transfer Market and Finances etc.

But it doesn't say 'Home Grown' though lol ;)

You're talking about Luka Modric, I am pretty sure he is since I think he's been at Tottenham for quite a while now.

Could you post a screenshot of his history?

I would go onto my FM but it's not working at the moment.

Here is his History, but surely there is a difference between 'Home Grown' players and 'Players trained by a club in England'?

Modric has only been in Tottenham for 1 and a half years. So he isn't classified as Home Grown unfortunately.

And if he did stay at Tottenham for another 1 year I think he would have passed the age of 22 so it doesn't count.
