Good performances in friendlies since I took over means that we are ready for the season ahead.

We have made our second signing this season and it is Arkadiusz Malarz from LKS Lodz, he is a 39 year old goalkeeper from Poland, hopefully he gives us some stability in between the sticks.

Tom Pearce is the first player I have transfer listed. I am looking to sell him on to supplement new signings.

Kyle Joseph the young striker has moved on loan to Stockport. Hopefully he has a good loan spell there.

Alex Perry, the 22 year old central midfielder has left on loan to join Aldershot. I want to see him grow as a player.

Tom Pearce, the 22 year old left back has left Wigan to join Shrewsbury for 96k pounds. Best of luck to him in the future.

Thelo Aasgaard has moved on loan to Wrexham. Looking forward to his development.

My next signing is a 19 year old winger who can also play as a striker called Rayhaan Tulloch on loan from West Brom. He was impressive in the previous Papa John's Trophy games for the West Brom Under 23's. So I snapped him up as a replacement for Kyle Joseph who has obviously gone out on loan himself.

We won our first league game of the season. I am very pleased with this win.

Chris Merrie injured for 2-3 weeks. We need a left back. I have been playing him at left back and he has been pretty decent.

My next signing is Salimo Sylla. He is my fourth signing this season. He is a French left back who has signed on a free transfer.

Our next signing, George Thorne. He is our 5th signing here at Wigan. A 27 year old English midfielder who has plenty of experience in the Championship for Derby County especially.

Our next signing is David Milinkovic. He is a 26 year old Serbian winger who previously played for Vancouver in the MLS. He has Championship experience.
