The previous posts are all slap forehead moments..... there's still the issue of the over bids, got a solution I can ridicule?

I'm sure someone will pick this up in another game and they won't have to put up with **** about what's 'standard.' You made a point, don't have to take the mickey.

Not really overbidding if the high bidding is the norm though is it?

If it keeps up, there will be loads of issues for people.

Otherwise a normal trading round sorts it out. Its either sell for what you can get or have half a team.

Trade players. Sell players to other people WITH money. Failing that selling back at half the original price he bought them for and then buying much cheaper alternatives
 
Just read 2 pages of thishing about budget, i think 500 mil is is slightly l maybe add 100/150 to every1 budget so the overbidders cant moan, and the reason i bought chamkah for 40 mil is because i think he is a class player.

Will sned bids now, btw is trading open in this game throughout the whole of auction game bidding period?

yes trading is open , and look guys, like gaffer said, 50% back to the auctioneer and the player goes back up for sale (they dont get a cent, could rebid if they wanted to though... nutters.) or they sell it to a another person, which shouldnt have to be the amount they paid or higher. that doesnt help the overbidding, it just transfers to another player overbidding possibly higher.

anyways can we get these bids back on track? i want to get my players!

Yes, yes complicated right: Re-auction < Winning Auction Value > Trade Player

Wow that really is complicated sell for less requires re-auction, sell for more and you can player trade. This way people know straight away what they can do with a player, if you can't get anyone to buy straightout you re-auction.

I don't care one bit about your finances I'm going to be keen to see what price and whom you sell your currently rooted squad for though because your going to screw the one's that don't bid 50.1% + for your players or if its just going to be a scenario of 50% back after no negotiations (might aswell have not played at a 50% handicap).

You guys talk rubbish about how its so complicated and unnecessary and then you come up with ideas that don't work and are more complicated.

as i mention before this..this fault because of i thought this auction budget is 1000m..when someone cant accept the reason, it will be a long discussion..
 
can we get the OP updated and have everyone stop fretting about the budgets, it only affects a few people and its not hurting the majority, so just shove your opinions, let legend figure it out and make your bids.

wait fly... which way is number 2? i get your suggestion, only thing i dont like is you have to pay more than the auction price for the player, problem with that is that it was an overbid in the first place (say 85m for chamakh or something) and you're just further compounding that. if you take out the rule you have to pay equal or more to buy the players, i agree with #1.
