Theres dreaming and then theres this. If we pulled this off i would **** a fully made house let alone bricks.

Looks like we're meeting Benteke's £32.5 millon release clause, not sure what to think about this to be honest

Part of me is still disappointed that Costa didn't flop and Ride The Walrus didn't have to cut his **** off :(

Terrible, terrible move.

Presume we've panicked with the rumoured imminent Utd bid.

That said, if Rodgers believes he's his man, then so be it. He knows he's on his last legs, so back him with the purchase and let him stand and, uhhhhhm, 'or' fall by his decision.

This, if it goes through, takes away from a lot of the great feeling on the window for me.

Not sure what's the issue with Benteke and why so many are turning against signing him (including ManUtd fans)

His goal scoring record is very good and since he joined the league only 3 or 4 players scored more goals than him. He is a physical beast and can space for midfielders to operate. Also he is not just a hoof ball player, he is technically good to play ball on the ground. He has decent pace and also little flicks to run on to.

49 goals in 100 games playing for uninspired Villa is a brilliant record. That's 1 in 2 record.

Price is bit steep but that's what you have to pay for good players. Kane is worth more than 40M now after just 1 good season.

I for one hope we sign him to compete with Rooney.

I saw that as well. This comes after a couple of days of speculation that United were after him, including him apparently favouriting a tweet suggesting he'd go to Man U. Highly suspicious this speculation was put out there by his agent, if not the club, in order to make us pay up sooner.

EDIT: Sorry Scouseinthehouse, you said almost the same thing, for whatever reason posts hadn't loaded until I replied to this
