Stayed off this thread for a while, as I don't like voicing negative opinions all the time.

I stuck up for him last season, but this season he's gone even more clueless than ever before.

I hope he goes, and I hope we get Klopp. This is as bad if not worse than the dark says of Hodgson...

This time however we have a genuine way out, in Ancelotti and Klopp there are two great proven managers, I just hope we make the right decision and do it now.

Will never hate Brendan personally, he (and Suarez) give me a brilliant season a couple a'go, but his time is up now.

I agree with you mate, but let's not go as far as saying it was Hodgson-esque haha!

Remember we were bordering on the relegation zone after, what, 10 games?

Yeah well, even with Hodgson you still had the ability to attract quality targets, so there was at least some glimmer of hope for improvement. Rodgers has managed to lose that completely. Can't sign the right players, so he doesn't have the ability to move the club forward anymore. Its as simple as that.

I would like to think if we can beat the the bigger clubs like Chelsea, we would-actually should-put in the same level of performance against other clubs like Liverpool etc.

It'll be a bore draw I think. We can't seem to beat any of the small clubs lately.

Carlisle just topped Northampton.

West Ham is just about the worst I've ever seen at Anfield. At least we had players that could fight on the pitch under that clown. We have none of that now. The performances are equally as inept and getting worse than even Hodgson put out and the longer it rolls this year, who knows how low we'll drop? Can you honestly see where the next win is coming from? Because you're in a very small minority if you can.

The complete lack of anything from the crowd at the game is at an even lower ebb than it was under Roy. Which is quite the spectacular achievement.

By unaminous agreement everyone around me and everyone else I spoke to after last night said this was the lowest they've EVER felt with this football club.

The problem with getting up and coming managers is the fact they will always go for players they used to have too, some rumours that were in for Monk and it's just screaming Rodgers v2.

We need a big name who can attract big players to this BIG club. It's beginning to feel like were not anymore...

I really like Monk, I think he's a great coach, but I can't imagine a single Liverpool fan being impressed if we get him - myself included, I think that would be FSG asking for trouble.

Klopp, Ancelotti, De Boer or Emery (as long as DOF comes with him), they would be my four picks that might be a little bit realistic

Personally, he'd be my number 2 as I'm with you. Ancelotti would be the top choice. He's one of the top 2 or 3 coaches in the World for me (if not the best given his European record); and not only ticks every managerial box, he's as humble and dignified a man as they come. In the traditional LFC manner.

It's not so much that as who they've chosen to go for.

Boston appear to be finally realising their money ball approach (highlighted glaringly by the man they chose as manager), just doesn't fly in todays money driven footie World. Even less so since that rat Platini changed the goalposts on FFP.

Problem is Liverpool don't even look like they are going places. Someone like Ancellotti probably has one more club left in him. He'll be keeping an eye out on both Manchester clubs and indeed Bayern, as would Klopp. All 3 clubs in better shape on and off the field.

I'm saying this very carefully as I don't want this to be construed as any B/S 'better fan than you' bunkum; but there is a MASSIVE difference on all sorts of things today from people who go the game and people who don't.

Don't take that personally either mate. It's just a general observation.
