sturridge out till after the international break what a joke he is sick of him now

If this rolls on and off all year I doubt he'll be here because Klopp will just move on to someone he can rely on.

He's shown in 3 short weeks that there's no favouritism and you're either doing it for the team or it's next man up who will.

Easier said then done. Starting to think he has a bit of the Harry Kewell syndrome.

Oh, completely agree... But you have seen what he has done when fit and putting that in a rival side would be very risky

I hope he recovers.. Obviously.

But he has had plenty of chances to try and solve his injury problems and it will get to a point where he will simply become unreliable and have to be moved on.

'Hopefully' it doesn't come to that

The days of selling for either the sake of selling, or to a rival club, are behind us again.

I wouldn't be worrying about that if he does get moved on.

I wouldn't be so sure. If anyone is gonna make "an offer we can't refuse" (not in the mob sense ofc) for Sturridge, then surely it'd have to be an English club. Only an English club would be willing to pay more than £25m for him, and if we get an offer around £30-£40m from City, I'd have to consider whether it'd be a smart move to sell or not. Right now I'd say **** yes.

Same goes for other English players. Only English clubs are willing to pay the well-known overprice for these players, no foreign clubs give two ***** about a player having English nationality.

I love Sturridge as much as the next guy, but the fact of the matter is he's not playing and he's on high wages. I'm too lazy to google it, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if statistics show he's been injured more than not since signing.

I hope you're right, because that has hindered us more than anything... We get some momentum, challenge for the league or at least 4th place and then sell our better places

Stupid money is one thing Mersk, but it would have to be stupid money that you just couldn't turn down for us to sell to a rival now the club are looking to be back at the forefront of those rivals again going forward.

Either that, or someone activating a release clause like Arsenal tried with Suarez.

Right now I would take 20 Mill for him any day of the week. It feels like were kidding ourselves that Sturridge will somehow miraculously get over his injury problem. He wont and Im sure Klopp isn't stupid and will probably build the team around either Benteke or Someone else.

Gonna' be fascinating to see who survives and who doesn't over the next few seasons.

Well, the first few windows will tell just how committed or not Boston are now they have one of the top managers out there to get behind.

The thing is, I know you have a top manager now but nothing's really changed (Performances etc aside). You're still behind Chelsea, City, United and possibly Arsenal when it comes to signing 'top' players. Also I'm sure you'll still sell your best players if the likes of Barcelona and Real come in for them. The future certainly seems brighter for you Liverpool fans, but it's a bit too early to say that times are changing (People said the same under Brendan).

And conversely it could be said you know that no more than anyone believing the Americans have.

So we'll see the first few windows.

Wages are a big issue as well... Unless they change the structure, top manager or not, we will not compete with any of the top teams for the best players, particularly United, City and Chelsea

I love lucas so much, such an underrated player the things he does on the football pitch that people who just ball watch never see. First name on the teamsheet for me, plus he should have been made Club Captain. Insult that Milner was made VC ahead of him, considering he is covering his *** in midfield because no one taught Milner that running around aimlessly and misplacing passes isn't a prerequisite for a midfielder. He adds experience they said...

Performances aside you know, cos, what club gets judged on performances these days.

To be honest mate I'm absolutely fuming about this. We've clearly failed with Klopp. It's been 3 weeks and he still hasn't got us competing to sign the players you have. Should have got Ancelotti we'd have signed Pogba by now. **** the transfer window and that.
