It's not that I don't believe, it's just that on 1-3 City had quite a few chances, some really good ones too. When Aguero was subbed I felt a little safer. But if it had been 2-3 with 20-30 minutes left, City would've given it their all, and they're more than capable of scoring goals even when their defence is *****.

Didn't make much of a difference though, as Skrtel showed them how it's done.

Firmino MOTM no doubt, only Coutinho came close. Some other great performances too, like Skrtel, Can, Lucas, Lallana. Solid all the way really, with only Milner almost ******* it completely up when he passed it to Sterling.

So that's Arsenal, Chelsea, City, Everton, Tottenham and United all visited in the first 13 games. 2 wins, 3 draws and only one defeat at Utd. That's a title challenging away run. (And I aren't suggesting L'pool are suddenly title challengers before anyone misconstrues that.). Start the season you'd say we can come through those games like that, and win at home, we'll fancy our chances. NEVER expected to of come through that run with just one defeat. The two wins at Chelsea and City are just a major bonus.

The second half of the year is going to be darn exciting that's for sure. Arsenal and Utd at Anfield in the space of 4 days mid January. Salivating over those already.

I don't think Swansea are looking forward to next Sunday.

How good was that? Said it earlier, and I'm sure there's been others in-between I'm missing, but the last great team goal like that, that springs instantly to mind was Heskey completing his hat-trick down at Derby under Houllier the second treble winning season.

The two Brazilians really benefited from being left out the squad and having two weeks to fully work on the game plan for today. They really clicked with their movement and interchanging. Some of their one touch passing close together was a joy to see.

That was a very sloppy one to give away in truth

I think it was good interplay but city were ball watching...

Toure or fernando should've been positioned better and sagna should've tracked coutinho

**** off you ****. Was great play.

Old Trafford is that way -->

That was unbelievable! And if it weren't for Joe Hart and some slightly below average finishing we could have had 6, 7 or 8! Firmino and Coutinho were unbelievable, Can had a great game and the defence was really impressive too, especially Skrtel! Anyone who had been writing Firmino off can eat their words, he's only going to get better!

Woah, never expected that result. Congrats guys, that was a massive scoreline.

Bit late to the party but what a result and what a day that was!

I was quite optimistic pre game yesterday but could have never imagined it being that emphatic. I am not going OTT when i say it could/should have been 7 or 8!!

Some very good fixtures on paper coming up and whilst Palace proved it's not as simple as that, we have a great opportunity to really push on

Jurgen Klopp has more away wins versus 'Top 4' in six weeks than Brendan Rodgers had in three years.

Would agree but I think Benitez ate them. You are free to have a premiere league title though. We have plenty to spare ;)

God I hope Rafa didn't. The Bridge would be even quieter than normal if you didn't have those to flutter in the breeze.

And we'll pass. We'll take our chances of winning some of our own the next few years ta.
