BTW, come on City tonight!

Aside from the extra stress of everything and added probability of 'naughtiness' , the potential prospect of losing a final to Everton just does NOT bare thinking about.

Good might be to much yeah. But I think the game went better comparing to very bad first half.
I think Hughes was not thinking about holding Crouch in for the hole match. Two injuries and one of them was to sub was the main problem.
Stoke defense was decent and well organized but the movement to attack was bad. But Liverpool seemed clueless what to do most off the time.

But hey the intense game are just coming in the next months and cant wait for them if premier league standings stay so close and every spot is up to grab.

Hmm Nolito, u need winger or he is playing more as a striker? He is 29 years old.... But these are just transfer talks.

More of an Inside Forward I think, operating out the left hand side IIRC, tidy little player deserves a chance at a big club liked him for a while.

BOLLOCKS! Barkley 1-0.

*Edit* Fernandinho 1-1! GET IN! Come on City!

All square and the ball was out. Oh dear Everton.

Now we got a tie!

*Edit* Trying not to celebrate that Augero goal. Still on a knife edge.

Phew. City it is. Takes all the stress of a derby out of it.

And doubtless Pelegrini will stick with no Hart in goal as his league cup want. Liking that any day of the week.

Should be a cracker. The football league and TV company's have got their showpiece final.

Difficult to see Nolito happening, he's said before the only club he'd leave Celta for is Barcelona

Pretty sure we wouldn't be spending anything like £13/14 million on a 29 year old regardless.

If at all.

If Teixera doesn't work itself out, then Caulker and Grujic will doubtless be that for January.

IA wasn't to know but utter B/S mate. Made even worse by the **** who posted it claiming it came from Roy Evans. Who's naturally totally rubbished it.

I did know. I just thought it was ******* hilarious!

I think I'm the only one to see the humour in it :(

4 days to go the window after today. I wonder what we'll ultimately go to on Teixera being as they're obviously still negotiating?

Guess it comes down to how badly Jürgen wants his man and pushes FSG.

tbh it seems like one of deals that will drag on till deadline day then we'll agree a fee last minute and be too late

De Bruyne out for 6 weeks.

Sorry for him (and my fantasy team), but a major boost for L'pool ahead of the final.

So Shaktar's CEO say's our last bid was £32 million plus £4 million in add ons ..... But they now want FIFTY MILLION and he's not leaving until the summer.

Enough with dealing with Ukranian mobsters! We'll make do with what we have.

And this is why you don't mess with Eastern EU megalomaniacs. That interview he gave was a terrible idea and instead of forcing a move it's just made them put up a giant "**** you" sign in the shop window instead of an actual price. Sort of hilarious given the Sterling saga.

I was about to say they've had a massive 'F-YOU!' sign up right from the start.

But then you went fishing on £terling again so I shall leave you to your fun.

Have at it.

They haven't though. They clearly told people that he was going to be available in the summer, this was the price (38m), that's how it was. From what I understand, this is why we didn't lodge an official bid. You however, went in there and poked the sleeping lion by offering 38m now. Then he came out with that utterly stupid interview and the combination of the two, despite Akhmetov telling you not this window, has caused them to become pretty ****** off. Fair bit of blame for the club and the player really.
