problem is stuff like this are normally a case of just how long the ban hes getting because the tests don't lie unfortunately. if toure got 6 months then cant see any reason why he wouldnt get the same

That's what we need to hope for best case mate by all accounts.

Be interesting to see the manager's views on this if/ when he's officially charged/ banned and it all comes out and whether he has a future here.

I haven't read into it much. What type of fat burner was it? Like a supplement? Wasn't Tren was it..

They will probably ask for a blood test and if that comes up positive. He will be in grave trouble. If he knowingly took banned substances then expect the club to probably release him. I personally think it's just the kolo toure case all over again.

Yup. We're the only losers here. Let's say hypothetically he gets a years ban. He's hardly losing a career. The football club on the other hand ..... We cancel his contract and release him, we let a £15/20 million player walk. We stick by him, we're paying him a year for nothing.

Row 1 for Villareal. Lower centenary near the kop. Let's ******* have it.

Jury's reached a verdict.

Announcement tomorrow at 11 AM.

Let's pray they do the right thing on all counts.

well thats all you can do at the mo bro

Pretty much ta. Might well not be in a good place tomorrow regardless. Feeling pretty hollow right now. It'll be a long day.

In other news, the Danny Ings tribunal also sits tomorrow in Manchester so we'll (hopefully if they reach agreement quick) finally know how much he's gonna' cost. It's apparently taken this long down to Burnley preparing the biggest ever player tribunal counter claim of upwards of 500 pages. Burnley are pushing for £10 million. L'pool value him closer at £ 6 mill.

Wonder how many drug test there are done. It is not done so often in football? Havent heard any mayor news about famous players.

Not many and not rigorous enough to catch them all.

Btw few famous players were caught though, Maradona, Pep,. Frank de Boer, Mutu, Rio (missed drug test), Stam, Couto. There are many though but it's not enough.

Not sure I'd agree like. Talent wise there's no question he's more than worthy of a place. But overall it's been stop/ start for him this year as strong as he's now come on over the past few months. But then you could say the same for one or two other notable players there so I guess they take the dips at this age into account.

Stay strong mate.

Finally the truth. But took far, far too long. It's been an absolute disgrace it's taken this long, and sickening disgrace with what the press did along with the smearing. 27 years is an absolute disgrace.

Finally. I can only imagine how much this means to those of you who were directly affected by the disaster. Justice at last

Just sat here in bits. Part frustration, part relief, but just so thankful that after nearly three decades we've been vindicated for what we knew was the truth on that horrific day. The fact that after 27 years, in a court of law, albeit a coroners court, to FINALLY have it official that we didn't kill our own I can not begin to tell you. Dealing with that day has been hard enough initself and will be until the day we die. But living with that cloud over us from so many who believed the Establishments coverup, and still sadly do to this day, that I played a part in killing my own has been like a double punishment to have to deal with.

I was holding it together until the family's started singing YNWA. Then I just went. Momentous day but not a celebratory one being its come 27 years too late. Just relief and vindication for what we've always known.

Just so so sad that great people like Anne Williams and John Glover who fought so tirelessly against the highest powers in the land for the truth and justice for their loved ones are sadly no longer here to hear the verdict they fought so hard for.

Now the next long stage begins with private prosecutions in bringing those to justice that have escaped for FAR too long.

Being someone who was neither alive at the time of the disaster, nor from Liverpool, I cant even begin to imagine what the last 27 years must have been like. Even just sitting here reading the BBC live feed, I am on the verge of crying. I hate to think how awful the last 27 years must have been.

Well done to everyone who kept fighting for Justice. It has finally arrived.

Has justice really arrived though? I don't mean to be insensitive, quite the opposite actually. The truth has arrived, but justice? Like I saw one guy say, "police are still getting their pensions, politicians have gone on to make millions, that paper is still being sold".

It seems to me the truth has finally been established as such instead of a lie, but justice is yet to be served.

Closure for a lot, but just the beginning for others. Expect a large list of prosecutions to begin.
