Sevilla haven't won a single away game in their league this season, and half of the games they've played away they have lost. Probably goes out the window for a cup final but with reports they won't even fill out their allocation I can see a stadium full of kopites.

It's Istanbul all over again.

£420 for a chartered flight that arrives in the morning of the game and leaves 2 hours after it finishes. That's just too much unfortunately.

Hopefully the travelling kop do us proud, I'm sure they will.

Couldn't love this man any more if I tried.

He was made for L'pool. And we were made for him. And the way he's been talking today, this could well be his last club.

I think I'll be travelling whether I get a ticket or not. Ticks Switzerland off the bucket list at the very least!

Scouse, how much did you pay to get to Swiss?

On a £77 flight out of Manchester to Zurich via Cologne Tuesday which I booked Thursday in Villarreal after the game. (Trust me when I say there is absolutely nottin' to do in Villarreal so it seemed a good opportunity haha. Not a place you want to be stuck in.). Zurich's around 55 minutes from Basle by train which are regular. (Not booked a ticket for that. Pick it up Wednesday whatever time we decide to roll into Basle.). Then back Thursday from Geneva to Newcastle for £17. Booked that a good few weeks back. Too good to turn down. (Train home from Newcastle Thursday evening for £20.). The Basle-Geneva train (around 2 and half hours) is £70 ..... BUT, and I **** you not, we have an account with Swiss Rail for times like this that allows you half price fairs on their super savour deal 14 days in advance. ALWAYS be prepared haha. So that's down to £35.

That Manc- Zurich flight Tuesday as I type has now more than doubled to £189. There's lot's of ways to get to Basle (anywhere Southern Germany or Paris for example and then get the train in), but prices have flown up since the final whistle. Direct flights into Zurich or Geneva are now getting stupid.

Strasbourg used to be brilliant for Basle. An hour and half or so the train. Gorgeous little place that not many **** heads ever went to. But frigging Ryan Air stopped flying there which outside of Brussels Airlines was just about the only cheap flights in. Very annoying.

Nice of him. Handy to know about the tram. Ta for that.

Real nice, picturesque place Basle. Stopped either side of the Rhine on both the German and Swiss/ French side. The only problem, which hopefully won't be this time, are the Basle fans who are up there with the likes of St Petersburg (another gorgeous City. Maybe's there a connection?) as the worst hoolies currently in Europe. Seen a lot of **** over the years but the night of/ after the Champions League game two years I was literally **** scared. Long story short, just hoards of Basle lads, dressed from head to toe in black, all wearing balaclava's wielding iron bars the works battering **** out of the police and anything remotely English. It was like a military operation. Even our knobs where ******** it that night as they got run all over. Serious, serious dicks Basle fans.

But with 30/40 thousand or so Liverpool fans out there I wouldn't expect anything and I'm not hearing of any planned repercussions.

Just remains to be seen how we behave with the severe lack of tickets. Up the ground could well be fun.

Fricking Klopp's gonna' make me destitute haha, but we're apparently gonna' book Trondheim flights Friday if we're there. (Rooms already booked.).

I'd never even thought of that in all this madness but I was informed today that's the plan so I'll keep yers updated Mr Norwegian person thingie. :D.

Jordan Rossiter looking like leaving for Rangers the summer for £250 K out of contract compensation.

Pity, looked a decent prospect the few games we seen him the first team. But his small size and injuries haven't helped. Presume he's also a victim of the numbers game with Stewart and Brannagan his position that have been healthy for Klopp to have a look at and have both taken their chance well.

Shame it's compo as a sell-on clause would of been nice in case he does make it big. Nice step up for him playing in front of 50 thousand or so at Ibrox next year with possible Europa League footie if they win the Scottish Cup.

Good luck to him. Like to see local lads carve out a career.

How ******* good has Lovren been lately? He used to get the regular cancer treatment from me with Mignolet. Heck, even Mignolet has made a few decent saves lately.

Lovren has been a beast since Klopp came, can't say the same for Mignolet though. He's still average as ****.

I SERIOUSLY need to stop watching Cologne matches. My man crush for Jonas Hector is getting off the charts haha.

5th time I've watched him playing for his club the second half this season, along with 3 Germany games, and getting more and more impressed by the game. He's now progressed to captaining Koln. (Very vocal and cajoling his teammates into the right position this afternoon.). And for the first time he wasn't at LB, but in a defensive midfield role in front of the back 4/ deep lying playmaker. Like a classical German sweeper, but not as deep, covering his teammates and breaking things up whilst spraying the ball around and elegantly breaking forward when the opportunity arose. And for good measure whipping in some great corners from the left.

Two great feet, great in the air, composed striding forward, strong in the tackle, reads the game superbly and has great positional sense, a leader ..... If we sign just ONE player this summer I want this man **** it!

*Nottin' to report on Horn as he had next to nottin' to do all game again.

Champions League Final. 20K ticket allocation per team.

Differemt City. Different venue. Different tournament. Same UEFA ****.

'We care about the fans' my pasty white ****!

Celtic showing support for the 96 today. Classy club, always supported us on Hillsborough. Proud to call them my second team.

YNWA

Mingolet; Flanagan, Skrtel, Lucas (C), Moreno; Allen, Stewart; Ojo, Coutinho, Ibe; Benteke.

8 changes but that is still a much stronger side than I expected. Great to see Flano fit enough for this one. Gutted for Danny Ward that his club season is done and he's robbed of a potential UEFA Cup winners medal.

Go 'ed Red Men. Box off that UEFA league spot before Basle.
