‘Sake! Wythenshaws (not so) finest Anthony Taylor has the game Thursday!

New Year. Same, continued disgrace.

F joke, Klopp needs to kick-off big time now. Enough’s enough!

Peak Suarez was definitely best striker of this generation, but worth noting that his peak didn't really last that long. He was unstoppable for maybe 3 years and it was downhill from there. Plus his record in CL is *****.

Lewandowski and Kane are both pulling great stats, but neither is going to win you a game by himself. Without service they're anonymous, it's a dying breed of striker that we probably won't be seeing very often going forward.

Would argue the Kane part. Yes he wont do flashy dribles and pace past all oponnents. But he has the abilty to be game changer, by just being there on pitch he is game changer. More often defenders must double on him if not he will punish with long shots, he has amazingly good abilty for big striker to pass and see his teammates. Poch has made him into complete foward who has amazing abilty to drop deep and be teamplayer that many strikers lack.

Not many things stun me anymore in football. Pulisic just has.

Bad career move IMHO at a pivitol stage but all the best to him.

Not everyone wants to sign for Liverpool bro.

Which is sound but Chelsea is the very last place I’d look at, at such a pivital point in my development.

*Edit* He wouldn’t have had the choice being as we ended our interest for whatever reason.

Its just the decisikn to go there that really surprises me.

Why? 2 past titles from like 4 years. Willian and Pedro probably both are sold, or one will stay for depth, so he will be def starter. Next year under Sarri it can be huge for him, will get more than enough game time.

Why? Hazard more than likely in Madrid. Which will hit a Chelsea squad who like Arsenal and Utd are streets behind City and L’pool. So the immediate from what you’re alluding to isn’t too clever. ****, I wouldn’t confidently lay money on them being in the CL next year as I type.

Then theres Chelsea’s P poor attitude/ record at developing young kids. With quality ones that should be getting a look in now nowhere near. And looking to constantly leave down to that. If you’re talking game time, the situation at Dortmund was better.

He has everything to be whatever he wants to be. Just personally think Chelsea’s a bad place for that to come to fruition.

We can agree both on the fact that Chelsea is not best club etc. But there is still apeal to grow into them. He is young, he wont have any big competition playing as RW. Yes there is danger Hazard leaving, but until anything is confirmed we cant base it on that maybe. But if he goes, Pulisic on LW and Odoi(god i hope they wont sell him) slot into RW. He has oportunity to have team built around him long term.

Only thing that bothers is the fee and him coming over in summer. I understand the USA market place will make it even very fast. But cmon why summer, slot into RW and offload Willian.

Talking of todays pressers-

Much more of this mutual respect and Klopp and Pep’s ‘bromance’ will need a room haha ..... ‘You’re the best side in the World!’ ..... ‘No, you’re the best side in the World!’ ..... ‘No, YOU’RE the best side in the World!’ ...., ‘NO, YOU’RE the best side in the World!’ .....

Counting down the hours to what could well be a season defining, mouth watering clash tomorrow with everything on the line.

If L’pool win, that’s the league boxed for me. Seriously.

10 point lead. Whi was the last to lose that? Newcastle? These Reds aren’t dropping 4 games. This isn’t the frailties of previous L’pool title challengers under Ged, Rafa and Rodgers. We aren’t built that way.

For City, it’s as much a ‘must not lose’ as ‘must win.’ And you know we’ll be going there, as we go everywhere, playing for the win. They avoid defeat, it’s game on. They don’t .....

Sounds mad but this is a potential title decider at the turn of the New Year. I firmly believe that.

Just garbage that we aren’t enjoying the NY in Manchester yeaterday/ today as we should be and have to wait until Thursday! ****** Sky!!!!!

All of that is only worth anything if players around you aren't useless. We see this with Lewandowski in national team on regular basis. Every time we have the ball he gets double marked, he will work his *** off harassing defenders, playing with back to goal, drawing a lot of fouls and generally he'll be a nuisance to the other team. But I'd trade that for peak Suarez in a second, because that guy just couldn't be marked out of the game period.

Last hour of work for the day then it’s off to (hopefully) win a league.

Buzzing!

Let’s do this!!!!!

Enjoy the match lad :)

And you. Should be a belter. As confident as I naturally are, you never lose sight of just how great City are and the ridiculous standards this team set last year.

I think we’re looking at the next few years of City- L’pool matches being season/ title defining moments. Wouldn’t surprise me either, if the draw keeps us apart, to have the ultimate meeting in Madrid come June.

Genuine question, why is it that a majority of fans of other big clubs (Arsenal, City (although they're more obvious in this context), United, Chelsea, Spurs etc.) absolutely hate the thought of Liverpool winning the title? Was in London a few weeks back and met lots of Spurs/Arsenal/QPR fans in particular and the consensus was "anyone but Liverpool". Obviously doesn't go for all fans of those clubs, but from my personal experience, a vast majority. I'd say United are more hated than Liverpool, but also more accepted for challenging/winning titles.

Obviously I don't want you to win the title, but the alternative is just as ****. If you deserve it, how can it begrudged? Irish LFC fans are ******' hard on the ear though, that's a big downfall.
