When you say striker .....

That’s harsh. He’s just staticaly very limited. Came on a flyer with a lot of potential but just hasn’t developed. He’ll have a career lower down but the clubs moved on massively since he signed and he hasn’t.

To flip him for a £9 million or so profit will be very welcome and best for all partys.

That’s the story FWIW ..... https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/sol...with-brighton-keen/1rhcjevkbbdoa1wd9pjsgoslxf

Grass aint always greener on the other side eh Solanke mate.

Did you rate him Alc? Chelsea fans I knew weren't arsed about him leaving and maintained Tammy Abraham was the better talent/striker.

I’m sure getting his career off the ground to the tune of 21 PL appearances, with 5 starts including rhe Merseyside derby, a top level goal, playing a part on the wondrous journey to Kiev, culminating in a place on the bench the CL final, along with a full England cap would have him think the experience was a good one.

Really need to sort your mad youth situation out man and at least have some sort of first-team pathway. Particluarly with the new loan rules coming in.

The far bigger loss, a full, unaffected return from his horrific injury not withstanding, was Brewster. He does look difference making the next level. They’re looking at him backing up Firmino.

Another bonus who just didn’t see any first team pathway at Chelsea. Mad how they approach youth development as mainly an FFP aid.

£19 million for Dom Solanke.

Build a gold statue celebrating Michael Edwards NOW!!!!!

*Edit* Sorry, £19 million plus add-ons. Add some gold gates too!

It was never a good move for him after Chelsea, certainly not in terms of delvopment. Missed out on vital game time

Build a ******* statue for Bournemouth. They've bent over and paid like 40M for your scraps the last year or two ffs. Could've bought Salah and still have change left over

Great isn’t it? :)

All Hail Bournemouth!

Don’t really see how he fits in with a footballing side there but all the best to him. He was part of every matchday squad last year in one of the funnest seasons I’ve ever enjoyed so we have those shared memories.

He has the potential Solanke he just needs to translate scoring goals into men's football. However, for 19 million you can't really say no to that.

He’s really limited mate as regards the very top level. A traditional, sausage and beans bustling CF. Needs a heavilly wing orientated team. Very static but he’ll get goals if the aerial supply’s there.

11mil profit even before the add ons.. nice. that English tax adding up.

As Clyne's biggest fan :P I don't really understand sending him out on loan as limited as he is we could have used him as cover for the FA Cup.

Personally think these next few months until end of season will make or break Klopp at Liverpool, if they fail to win the league in this position after also losing the CL Final last season, it's hard to see him ever getting any success at Liverpool. Two golden opportunities, I hope for your sake that you take this one.

Solanke to Bournemouth might be that Wilson could be on the way to Chelsea.

Yep seems, the right way is to get someone free then quick profit from year and a half...

I think the tribunal fee pushed this current fee up as there has not been correct info how much Pool payed for him and no way it is near the 3m they wanted to pay.
Also Clyne on loan might be affecting this prize also. What is strange thing to do by Klopp. He now has no decent cover for LB and RB. Gomez should be played as CB not RB, then you have Fabinho and worst case Milner(LB also). And for left Moreno...

Nah. Not in the slightest.F

It’s about progress. And a record points total is another ridiculous leap forward to continue his season-on-season inprovement his whole time here. We win it? Sound. We finish sexond to City? Disappointing but equally sound.

No match-goer will be unhappy/ calling for his head. He’s under absolutely zero internal pressure.

Not how we roll. He’s here for the full 7 years at least. Even if he’s going into year 7 without a major trophy.

Bar an absolute about turn and no Europe, hes got the safeat job in football. Everyones FULLY built into this project safe in the knowledge its returning the club back to the very pinacle of the World game in every facet. We’ll be seriously challenging for the league amd European Cup every season going forward. Absolutely bo doubt in anyones mind on that as to what’s being built for the long haul.

And don’t read that as we don’t need to add silverware. We do. Thats the ultimate goal. It’s just not imperative as bellends like Mourinho tried to add pressure on him with.
