Pressure is all on City now. 2 in the bottom 3, Newcastle (Im sure Rafa will let us win XD) and Wolves who wont be fighting for anything. Its gonna be a great run in!

Hardest, worse day of the year.

Every year.

God rest.

I wasn't even born at the time, let alone being there or part of the city, and I shiver and come close to tears every time i think about it. I can't begin to imagine what it must be like for you and anyone else who was affected.

Thank you mate. Appreciated.

Scouse, would you fancy Ziyech at Liverpool?
Could play midfield, left wing, right wing. Very attacking with lots of energy, not shy of a tackle.

Ajax should somehow get a reversed transfer ban so they cant sell.

Wouldn't want to get 'too' greedy after stealing Ki-Jana Hoever who is ridiculously good. Ajax have developed him superbly. And the massive strides he's made in 5 short months here is frightening. Not often you get a young, just turned 17-year-old CH SO composed bossing it amongst lads 4/5 years his senior the 23's right up to that wonderful first-team debut at Wolves the Cup. Joy to behold in that aesthetically pleasing Dutch style.

He's going to be right in the mix with van Dijk and JMG the coming years. Another top young defender to go with de Ligt for the National team you'll have to look forward to.

No wonder Ajax were so devoed to lose him.

Not really seen enough of Ziyech to form an opinion either way. Look forward to seeing him up close in the final Madrid. :)

Fun fact: Before the world cup last summer, Sporza (belgian sportswebsite) made a video about that statisticly The Netherlands will become world champions in 2022. They say it's because after our succesful generation (Sneijder, Robben etc.) there's a gap and needs time to fill a new one. Making comparisons to the team in the 70's after that they missed couple tournaments to win the euro cup in '88. Same sort of thing happened with France, Germany and Spain.

It also says that after the generation Hazard/DeBruyne Belgium will fall again, because they're not integrating enough youngsters.

Very good video (sadly in Dutch) about talent development. Maybe the final point they're making is the best. You need a winning mentality. That is why Belgium doesn't win trophies, because (from my own experience aswell) they don't believe enough in themselves. Only last summer they became for the first time in history since 1945 that they won a gold medal in a olympic teamsport (fieldhockey)!

Strange one this personally. First CL away I’ve missed since Fiorentina the groups 2009. Not being helped by photies and messages of everyone having a boss time the sun in one of the best City’s to have a break in Europe. But something had to give and the sky high prices Easter week for a place, as great as it is, that’s as hard a City to get to as anywhere Porto was that ‘give.’ I’ll make up for it in Barca after last nights perfect two results. No trip to gloomy Salford. No fearing for your own life against Juve. Perfect first night of European togger this week.

I wanted to note a great mate of mine, who’s out in Porto, who said last night ‘Loving the chance to relax in Europe without the strain and stress of the League’ ...... God Love him but I just don’t get that? At all!

This is the finest, most complete L’pool side in my match going lifetime. Which started in 1980. It always has been Kenny’s great ‘87/‘88 side. But this gang of majestic Reds have surpassed even that to currently have more points through 34 league games than any side in LFC’s storied history. All 127 years of it! They are EVERY bit as good as a City side we’ve been hearing all season are the best side ever assembled. And both these trams for the absolute ages, the best the PL has ever seen statistically, are involved in well arguably the greatest English top flight title fight of all time. Which neither deserves to lose such has been the phenomenal output from both this year.

How can you honestly NOT be enjoying that? SERIOUSLY?!!!!! This is what football support is ALL about. If you can’t enjoy it and every last drop you have for the brilliant lads in Red doing the same on the field these last 4 games, then what is the point of it all?

Relish it boys. It doesn’t get ANY better than this. Regardless of how it all ends up. This team is one for the ages and is only going to get more dominant the more this grows.

8 more. Starting tonight with another night of hard graft ahead in Porto!

Up the best in the land Reds. Doing what we do in Europe!

And that will be that. Keep working Reds. Proper Euro away digging in battle this. Scruffy but job done.

Back-to-back European Cup semis. 3 European campaigns under Klopp. 2 finals and at the very least another semi. Ridiculously hard to do that. Well and truly back as one of Europes very, very best clubs again!

Barcelona, the only English side to win in the Nou Camp, TWICE!, never losing in 4 previous visits and only conceding 1 goal in the process .....

Your arch-nemesis in Red is coming for you! AGAIN!

Pinched from a good mates facey page .....

'I think my sat nav is goosed, keeps saying Manchester is in Europe.' XD

Top, top two nights of European footie boys as the mighty Reds stride on towards #6.

Isn't it two season for Liverpool? The previous season and this? Or am I missing something?

All three of his European campaigns here.

Europa League final his first season. CL final last and now a ‘minimum’ semi this.

Ridiculous consistency that. Ridiculously hard to do.

Barca away is the Wednesday. That'll force the Newcastle game to flip to the Sat'day now before the home leg.

Can sack off that L'pool- Girona flight then. Tu- Th out of East Midlands it is.

Bonus that we get a 24-hour jump on the final. If we've not gambled on that early.

With the record kit deal looming with either Adidas (please if possible. It's a Scouse thing) or Nike that's set to dwarf City and Utd's (obligatory 'FSG OUT!'), what will probably be NB last one of a real good run is another belter-

The Umbro pinstripe was my first ever shirt. Me Ma sewed a #7 the back. Chuffed wasn't the word.

Think I'll defo be investing in that goalie shirt though. Casual as F that like a t-shirt.

Just get the three point that is all. Arsenal losing today is a blessing as Utd still have a chance for top 4, just need them to hold City to a draw at least.

Yeah the black and gold of the GK shirt is a thing of beauty.

No hope of that happening currently have you seen how badly Utd are playing at the moment even Everton wooped them.
