I think you'll thoroughly enjoy this on a player for those two clubs who is madly underrated by the general foorball fan at large.

No need to add anything. Neil Jones superb piece does that and more-

He is one special guy. I am sure 1-2 year under Bielsa as a player could benefit also a lot into being coach. And noone will turn him down if he wants to join us. I dont belive it happens but world is crazy place and for us Bielsa is the leader of that.

I found it really disappointing yesterday personally reading so many that thought Andy Robbo's reaction to the match officials at the end of the Burnley game was a boss thing-

Personally speaking, I absolutely HATE to see players hurling abuse at officials. Whether the officials have been correct or not in their decision making, that's totally uncalled for. Proper disappointing to see both Andy caught doing it. And the manager not stopping him,

He should be up on a retrospective charge being as he wasn't booked for dissent.

Cringe embarrassing watching that. You're an influential pro. Set the example and handle things the RIGHT way!

Eh normally I'd agree but the referring in this country is just shocking week after week. This was the same ref who was in charge of VAR at old Trafford for the origi foul. The same ref that crossed of a legitimate Arsenal goal after chambers was fouled yet he decided it was the other way round. Not only are they incompetent but they are blatantly covering up for each other with VAR under the bs "clear and obvious" or whatever they call it rule. What respect to PGMOL deserve when they are actively against improving themselves. ******* Mike Riley literally said we dont need any help from the outside whatsoever. The ******* nerve...

Doesn't matter HOW poor or not the state of things are. You can't hurl abuse at officials like that on the pitch.

It just reinforces players right down the amateur leagues who regularly do the same where there's a massive dirth of officials. Mainly down to the abuse they get from both players and imbeciles the touchline. Both verbal and physical.

Don't try and excuse it mate because he's one of ours and the general state of officiating is P poor.

Fair enough you got a point.

They are on the beach.... sadly means we won't catch Chelsea... even if we win tomorrow.
Wouldn’t say that that we won’t catch Chelsea. I doubt Pool will play this bad at there place chasing 100 points never lost at home all season and will be getting the trophy also. But they been shocking tonight lol

Hmm, maybe, don't seem like they care much about it and it won't be achievable if they lose tonight anyway...

It's not that we're playing bad it's just that the mentality of being switched on for everything is just not there. Also, lack of urgency when Hendo or to an extent Milner doesn't play, everything goes through him and the standards drop. Virgil for me is a leader in the defence but he is too laid back to be captain. Which is a problem as both of them cant play every game. Now that the 100 point target is gone I expect him to heavily rotate for the last two games.

Interesting update to this piece. Young left-back Yasser Larouci is set to leave Liverpool this summer. Down to the final year of his contract and has told the club he won't pen an extension. He wants first-team football. Leeds & Brentford both keen. #LFC

Had a great pre-season and looked like he was pushing himself as cover for left-back but got injured and Neco broke through. Extremely raw but has the talents to forge a good career.

Pretty fair summation. Although lest we forget if Adam Lewis (who extended last week. Massive fan of his as noted a few times on these here pages) hadn't gotten injured, he'd of more than likely been the one who got his chance ahead of Larouci in all the games that opened up this year. He was the one who started out in the squad down at MK Dons.

He's had a rapid development the short time we brought him over and flipped him from winger to FB. As is our want. Naturally struggled a fair bot stepping up full time the 23's last year with bigger lads but yeah, I'd be confident too he's set up for a good career in the game.

Saw this and tough in PL we dont have players with this kind of acceleration and dribble skill who beat defenders regularly.

Zaha maybe the most closest currently, also Traore but he is not consistent, Sterling has pace but i dont think the technical skill.
Hazard was maybe the last who just floated between guys.

Sadly becoming a lost art, isn't it? The ability to dribble at pace with a ball, glide past players, and open the game up.

That's another big reason why there's still so much faith in Keita and why they were willing to pay what they did to make him the clubs third most expensive signing ever. His dribbling ability alone, before you get to the rest of his skill set, to do just that and take one or more players out of the game brings another level dimension to the side. Pressing him when he's on the ball is not a very clever tactic.

He just needs to stay healthy-

It was bad enough when they decided to take seats out and make a big song and dance about a stage on the Kop for the trophy lift-

But now we get F Coldplay too!!!!!-

I get it as this is the world we live in now and that all appeals to the Worldwide audience and no less social media.

But to the rest of us, that's the woolest of woolliest wool things imaginable. And straight out of the American razzmatazz playbook. And all on the sacrilege of the Kop too! Their continued lack of self-awareness when it comes to PR is jawdropping from a Country that specialises in that.

A complete Americanisation that just makes it cringe.

Again, I get it. It's the football World we live in now and every clubs ownership wants to maximise things to the last penny.

But of all things through this restart farce, I HATE this the most.

And work harder off the ball...

So far I've heard we will go backwards if we don't spend again and that our key players are now older and more tired. The bench is ***** and the squad is past its peak and has no incentive now. Reminds me of what was said about the same team last summer. I wonder what happened...
