I completely agree, Although victory over Chelsea still doesn't hand us the title it would certainly help us. We are still only 3 clear of City, who have a better goal difference
 
City still have to play Everton, and Everton won't roll over when they could still finish fourth
 
Rumour has it, Rodgers will be given 60m to play with in summer! Who you guys this we should show an interest to?

Not a liverpool fan, but from watching you lot:

- Wing-back who can play both sides
- Centreback to replace Toure
- DM to replace/rotate with Gerard/Lucas
- Maybe a better option than Aspas

we should get our own back on Chelsea for Willian and Salah and buy Diego Costa

I don't think that would be possible. Costa would pick Chelsea over us when you look at it. Chelsea need a main striker whereas we already have Suarez and Sturridge. Chelsea also have more money than us and we can't afford a bidding war as that would drive his price up too much.

we're not going to sign him, we're not even going to try to, but his release clause is 32 million iirc. No bidding war required.
 
Hopefully we would be looking at the following:

Full-back: One that could play both sides preferably but mainly a LB (Ricardo Rodriguez, Shaw, Alex Sandro, Alberto Moreno, Marcelo, Schmelzer)

Centre back: It seems Agger may be leaving so one that could be a back-up but also a good enough starter (Caulker, Howedes)

Central Midfielder: Can either play as the deepest playmaker or an attacking mid, either would do (M'vila, Rakitic, Firmino, Mkhitaryan, Pjanic, Calhanoglu)

Wide player: To cover for the departure of Moses but also provide competition (Konoplyanka, Shaqiri, Lazar Markovic, Alexis Sanchez)

Striker: To provide cover for Suarez and Sturridge with Aspas likely to leave (Luis Muriel, Lacazette, Rodrigo)


Just some players that have either been linked or i would like... there will of course be some surprises and maybe the odd high profile name signing with the added money and CL qualification, What you think?

Not a bad shout on players there tbf. I think Agger should be let off as like you said he is struggling to get into the starting 11. I don't think Caulker would be good enough for CL though?

Full-Back: We need some sort of depth Flanno has been a rock for us so I think he can do nothing but grow but johnson has been a bit off this season. (Peruzzi, Alberto Moreno, Ricardo Rodirguez)

Centre Back: Agger should be let go like you said as he is struggling to break the team of late which should open up some transfer fee/wages but I disagree with Caulker, he's not a bad player but can't see him being a CL player imo. (Mangala (beast), Dede)

Centre Mid: I am a big fan of Mkhitaryan and was a bit ****** when the deal fell through from us last time but I think it would be a bit of a downer and loose too much of the budget on him as they would want big bucks for him now :( (Barkley?, Rumour of Will Hughes?)

Winger: Moses will be going back to chelski so will need depth due to CL. Bernard said he wants to leave Ukraine due to the riots etc so could be a good shout? (Muniain, Griezmann, Bernard! Carlos Vela, Townsend? Wellington Nem (FM God))

Striker: I heard a few months ago Swansea were interested in Aspas so could be a good shout for him. SAS have been in too good of a form for this poor guy to break the team! He would be a good cover but a good CL cover? I'm not too sure. (Bony, Mame Diouf, Jo)

I mentioned Caulker as he would be cheaper, can only improve and Rodgers likes him... plus it is only back-up who could come in and we would be better spending the money on first teamers elsewhere.. we have Skrtel/Sakho/Toure/Ilori/Wisdom/Agger currently for CB next season (some will leave obviously)

Mkhitaryan would love and there has been rumours of renewed interest apparently.. Barkley again, would be fantastic but will never happen being at Everton. Hughes is one for the future really

Them names are very appealing. Any one of Muniain, Greizmann, Bernard, Vela for me would be fantastic.

Bony not a bad shout, some sort of deal with Aspas would be reasonable

Nope, the owners decided it was best (and cheaper) to just expand Anfield to between 59-65,000 seats depending on what site you read it on

Excellent. Anfield is an amazing ground when it's rocking, hope they manage to maintain the atmosphere.
