Dominated is a bit steep. Less posession, Liverpool had a lot of shots yeah but loads off target and only 1 more on target than Milan.

Fouled a **** of a lot too ;)

Lets change it to 'the better side by some distance' then..... I remember watching the game back then, but re-watching just made me feel disappointed all over again we didnt win it!

A deflected free-kick and a goal when we had to push forward and take risks

We dominated them. Crouch should have started, or possibly Bellamy too.

Its a shame Torres didnt join a year earlier!

I don't think we can be too disappointed with the loss in '07 considering AC fans probably feel the same way about '05

I'd say they probably feel a lot worse, being on the receiving end of one of the best comebacks in history and all.

Cole/Moreno, CB, Can, Lallana, Pedro .... not too much to ask is it?

I think the Lallana story has gone cold because your not willing to reach the valuation Southampton has of Lallana which is apparently ?30m.

So we will wait until after the World Cup for him to put a transfer request in.. Not like we're going to be in it any longer than the first week anyway so not too long to wait! :)

Im fairly sure it will be concluded, whether it be before or after the World cup... depending on what you read it seems to be the add-ons that is the sticking point

But the player wants to leave and in most cases the player gets his wish

Especially when the player is at a mid-table club and wants to join a Champions League team.

Feels weird referring to us as a Champions League team again... Weird & awesome.

Lallana is idolised at Southampton, wanting to leave is one thing, putting a transfer request in is another. I don't think he would do that... or maybe I'm wrong.

Word on the street is he wants to join. We'll see how much he does soon.

Its the reason i am really confident about this transfer window, not had the pulling power of CL football for a while!

Closing in on Can, deal nearly agreed (Barrett)

Excellent. Good little player, can play anywhere. He can be our Grosskreutz.

To be fair, Gerrard put in a transfer request in 2006 (was it?), so stranger things have happened. However, I do see your point - it would be difficult for Lallana to join another club due to emotional attachment to Southampton.

Konoplyanka: "Man United? I'd rather stay at Dnipro and play in the Champions League".

Love the lad already....

Loic Remy now being linked... Again, would take him at Liverpool.

Good squad player to have
