Wonder if Liverpool will seriously consider selling him this summer... not only because of that, but because surely he is just damaging Liverpool's reputation more and more.
 
100k Swiss frank fine, 9 match international ban going off the wording and a 4 month ban from all football activities I think going off this news conference

If Barca do come in with Sanchez + money offer I can see him going.
 
Why would Barcelona or Madrid even consider signing Luis Suarez when he is unavailable until 26th October? 80mil and will miss the first two months of the season

seems he is staying put in my opinion

Will Barca and Madrid even want to spend £80m on someone who averages being banned for 1/3 of a season, and is shedding sponsors?

This is Barca and Real we're talking about..... I'd say most likely still want him.... but then again, 80m is too steep. Looking at 50m I reckon.
 
The appeal could get messy on the face of it you could have Uruguay appealing the nine match ban, Liverpool appealing the 4 month ban and the player appealing the fine. What is 100k in Swiss franks in sterling?

Relax, remember the Barcelona 'unremovable' transfer ban?

Everybody will probably appeal and ruling will be changed to 5 minutes of community work and signed T-shirts for FIFA ruling committee.
 
This in my eyes is absolutely massive for Liverpool. Because of them in the Champions League next season and it being not a common thing of late to the club i expected them to struggle a little bit anyway. Now that with Suarez potentially missing 2-3 Champions League games in a group which will see Liverpool play at least a top and a second seeded side this has hurt them and Suarez is all to blame. I actually think there is an argument to say sell for 50million and re-build this summer because if your struggling come start of November when he comes back its too late then.
 
Suarez has now been banned for 34 games since 2010 without seeing a single red card. One more incident and you've got yourself a season, Luis.
 
Fifa media relations manager Delia Fischer adds: "An appeal may be lodged by the player and/or Uruguay FA."
