If thats the case, Herrera's assist and goal numbers are quite poor
 
Cant help but feel we should be taking the risk on Loic Remy. For his price you dont get much better and since when has this heart problem caused him problems in the last few years?

Nailed on he scores against us next season for someone like Spurs or Everton

Should of took the risk imo, only £8m so it's worth taking the risk for the amount of goals he scores...

It wont be Tottenham as we have lost interest in him. Unless we sell Soldado, Adebayor or Kane then maybe but our target is J Rod of Southampton.

Poor Southampton.. you definitely need another striker alongside those three
 
Disappointed. We've signed some good players this window, if we'd have kept Luis I'd be over the moon with the squad. But with him gone, we need better than Bony. Would have liked Remy a lot, hope we look outside of England now.

Laczarette seems a possibility.
 
Really happy with the Lovren deal, i think he is a very good defender

A new LB brought in and our defence seems a lot stronger. Glen, Flanagan - Sakho, Agger (May leave), Skrtel, Lovren - Enrique Moreno/Bertrand?
 
Just out of interest, how do you guys think you're going to do against Olympiakos later? They beat Milan yesterday so they're probably going to be playing with confidence.

It's all about the team we put out... first game since most the world cup players have returned so could be a close game

Already seen the jokes going around that they will be called Scousehampton this year.

In all seriousness it could go two ways for Liverpool this year. Yes they are adding depth to their squad but could have problems fitting evryone into their squad. The other advantage is they have got alot of their players with Prem experience. Then again it could all go **** up and they could end up be fighting outside the top four. It is going to be interesting how it goes.

Milan are pretty **** at the moment.
 
It seems the Remy deal falling through could all well be down to Borini not moving.. Redknapp in his presser stating the striker passed medicals at QPR and Newcastle recentley so is not sure how he could have failed
