QPR should have gone for the winner on free kick. Cost them in the end as well as poor defending own goals and ability to finish good chances :)

it was great so see Cou back on form again. He has had a shocker so far, but he changed the game today

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Balotelli puts in a game-changing performance against Madrid on Wednesday. Type of player he is

Still not good enough from the defence. Mignolet had an "alrite" game. Good saves but didn't feel like he controlled his defence at all.

What a shame the goals were in goals. If that defender wasnt there both times Mario would've scored them both. Poor guy.

Was good but was more QPR defending than anything. God help you Weds.

Funnily enough, im not so worried about Madrid. We always seem to step up against the bigger sides. Can see lots of goals, but I dont think we will be anywhere near as poor as today.

I think you do usually but can see Madrid blowing you away.

Completely agree - Totally different mindset

Liverpool get opened up far too easily. The Lovren - Skrtel partnership so far has been non-existent. Henderson's tenacity is excellent and I think with Allen next to him will give more intensity and take pressure of the back.

As it stands teams will relish having a go at them because there is a soft center. It's about getting that balance though to not allow to much space for them to counter as QPR did today.

Cant see it changing this season. CL will really hurt them, they have bigger squad but I would say lack quality atm. Some of there new lads really need to step up but cant see it, as I don't rate some of them.

I love how people are jumping on the Glen Johnson challenge when nobody had a clue anything had happened until they saw it on the replay - even the players didn't know what had happened

Clutching at straws!

Mignolet
Johnson - Skrtel - Lovren - Moreno
Gerrard
Henderson - Allen
Coutinho
Sterling - Balotelli

Although Sterling given a 'free role' if you will would be my thinking for Real Madrid personally.. could even drop Balotelli for Lallana and almost play Sterling the false 9, pack the midfield system

Just watching Madrid game now, think you need a miracle tbh. Johnson vs Ronaldo :O Really think will struggle to control ball with Kroos,Modric,Rodriguez in there. Plus they rested players and bought players off early.

It'll be Manquillo I'd imagine.

Bigger game, different mentality from the players and the fans

Madrid will be overwhelming favourites, have the majority of the ball and that allows us to counter them - Look at their game against Ludogarets and Madrid will always be suspect defensively

Not saying it will be easier in anyway but it would be foolish to write us off and think we'll play like today
