Yeah but Madrid always plays open attacking game against anyone not named Barca and Bayern. Against them they just play on counter.

Also like you said Carlo is just amazing cup manager something I just overlooked before posting.

Anyone know whats the story behind the recall of brand smith form Swindon? Is it a injury problem for Moreno or luck of confidence for Enrique?

PS I just cant wait for the match against Madrid

Its not an injury to Moreno - Echo reported he was being rested and spent 30minutes after the game doing shuttle runs

Been looking forward to this since the group was drawn. Unfortunately couldn't get tickets cos the systems a mess. There should be priority tickets for scousers rather than silly club member schemes.

I'd start with Moreno. Really good attacking can see him bombing it up on the counter.

And on the other side I'd start with... don't flame me fir this.... Johnson.

Yep. Think Manquillo is a bit poor really but the potential is there. Johnson is **** but at least he's got a bit of experience which will most definitely be needed tomorrow. Hopefully he'll block a cross or something.

Stick Stevie further up again he's built for scoring in these games. Keep Hendo and Lucas back with Hendo supporting.

God Mignolet in goal has already got me worried. Shame the Valdes deal is apparently off.

Cheeky bids for Cech, Diego Lopez or possibly even Ter Stegen anyone?
 
Daily Mail have just published an article saying Bale has been left out of the squad!
