Today i realized again two things about our team : i) we need a killer a great finisher as a striker ii) this team has so much talent that could be among the best 3-4 teams in the world in 3-4 years time if nobody gets sold and is developed well and they work hard!

I agree you have some top talent, but to say that best 3-4 teams in the world is a bit much atm. I think Pool need a couple ready made signings to get back in CL and need to stay there to. Because all the top talent will eventually want to leave for CL football after a while or will sting you with crazy wages to keep them there if your not in the CL.

I'm Not. Danny Ings just doesnt do it for me

He isn't a bad player. Look at the players he has to play with compared to if he played up top for us and the options to give him chances is a different ball game.

3rd choice along with origi then yea i wouldnt mind him we should sign a top class first choice forward lacazette, vietto or dybala would be my choice

This isn't always true. While some players play a lot better with quality players around them there are just as many that are big fish in small ponds that don't produce in top teams.

I'd prefer a proper right full back. Clyne? van der Wiel? Montoya? Aurier?

it always depends on the formation Rodgers will follow next year. 3-6-1, 3-5-2 etc.... he has to decide whether he will stick to this and get appropriate players or go back into 4 defenders....johnson clearly can't support the 3-5-2 formation, he is just an average player, and manquilo is not considered any more as a good option from rodgers since he is out way too long, On the left side i think moreno is good.

I'm fairly certain a 4man back line is what Rodgers has in mind. The change to 3 centre backs was for different reasons, like our play not working at all, having more centre backs available than full backs, and Rodgers seemingly not trusting/keeping Johnson. Manquillo is good defensively, and Flanagan will be back next season, but we still need a better right back. Enrique might be leaving as well, in which case we need a left back too.

I'm pretty sure a right back is high on the priority list, probably along with a CM/DM and an attacker.

Moreno is shocking at defending, never in position!

I agree with that he is fairly good in defense and good enough in attacking as a left back...I am happy with that. there are not many left/right backs out there that are great defenders. most of them contribute in the attack of the team and are average in defense.

Moreno definitely needs to improve defensively, and step 1 would be to stop putting his hands on his back and turning away. Carragher slammed Moreno for this not long ago, and I can't imagine Rodgers has ignored it. He's still young, he's still adapting to a new league with higher intensity. But he's had almost a full season now, and he's still doing it. Maybe his father was a an ice skater.
