klopp confirms his leaving dortmund, hopefully ayre can work his magic and sell him the lfc cause. fingers crossed.

IMO brendan is a fraud who has failed in his 3 seasons at the helm.

The only failed season rodgers has according to me is this one we going through now. I always like not to judge managers from their first season unless they are really awfull or they have great teams already made (e.g Real Madrid, Barcelona etc.) I don't think Rodgers last year was a failure! we finished 2nd! the goal was to finish in the top four(even though that through the leage that was changed since we almost won the title that wasn't a realistic goal!) Therefore i think he has failed only on this year since we spend 120£ m in the summer and we will NOT finish in the top four.(P.S i am not defending him I am just presenting the facts and the reality as it is)

Rodgers is not good enough 120 million spent and all to show for it is 5th place and emre can

my problem is not is his failures, but his inability to learn from his mistakes. for 3 seasons in a row he starts the season with his bullshit possesions nonsense tactics, which can be seen by our slow starts last season ( we played awful until christmas, we relied on a couple of 1 nil wins etc and individual brilliance...) and this seasons slow start. why he doesnt stick with the high pressure bielsa style football which suits the players we have i do not know. even last season second half of the season wasnt even up to him entirely. there are people connected with LFC who say that he attended a bielsa seminar and asked him how to get the best out of suarez and he suggest a way of playing, so it begs the questions why doesnt he stick with this way instead of time and time again going to back to his useless way if playing. lastly he transfer dealings have been abysmal to say the least, i could name many e.g why buy rickie lambert and play him as a target man when he isnt one he is best played as support striker... why pass up on remy( does he seriously expect us to believe he failed his medical and instead went for mario who is was clear would never fit our style. furthermore uncessary buying of players, did we really need markovic when we have ibe. He is a disaster with the press this whole sterling fiasco could have been avoided without rodgers giving the media a bone in the first place. simply put his a fraud and he will most likely be gone in the summer.

Absolute nonsense! Everything about this paragraph screams wrong! We went on a huge unbeaten streak again this season, and sorry if this hurts but probably wouldn't have lost to United if Gerrard wasn't a ***, i love him, but he cost us that game. But everyone started blaming Rodgers again from this point. We sold our best Striker and we put up a decent fight for fourth, what did Klopp do this season after losing their best striker? Do you know where they are sitting in the league right now? 10th. As for Balotelli, 95% of us had the same feeling, he was a risk. Yeah things haven't worked out, but you wouldn't be questioning it if they did. Markovic will come good I think, just needs a settling season. We all thought Lovren would be a dominating centre half, he hasn't been. Moreno looked amazing last season, he hasn't been for us.

How much would you pay for Coutinho? £30-40 maybe 50 million, we got him for 8.

Sturridge? Not having the best season but since his goal record for us should be valued at at least £25 million, personally I would say more. We brought him for £12 million.

We nearly won the league? How old are you? I'm 21. And that's the closest we've come to winning it while I was alive, so how can you turn on this man after one "bad" season.

And as for media handling, let's get Dalglish back.. ha ha ha!

This is going to be an unpopular opinion but I'd actually like us to keep Balotelli. I don't think he was given a fair chance this season sand I'd like to see him play in a system more suited to him like 2 up front.

I'm 50/50 on Balo too, really don't like the way he tries to keep this whole attitude thing up, like when he scored the winner at Spurs and didnt celebrate, it makes you wonder how can a player not have that passion. If no one buys him, then use him again I think, but we need a top striker in whether he stays or goes. But if you do get Balotelli playing well, things can be great! It's just whether you can or not.

I agree though he hasn't started enough games for me, but then a lot of that is probably because of his attitude when he does.

Ballotelli is a great talent but he is not willing to work hard. He does not ''fit'' in our team. The way LFC plays is that every players should contribute. we attack all together and we defend all together. There is no room for players who walk inside the pitch and just wait for 1-2 opportunities to make a shot....that just does not fit into our philosophy. There are some players that might need time to get used to the team and hopefully will play better next year. Balottelli isn't one of them unless he completely changes his gaming style.

Agreed on that, don't think Remy would have done too much closing down either though!

oh your in the brendan rodgers camp... my bad.

IMO brendan is a fraud who has failed in his 3 seasons at the helm.

Rodgers has made mistakes, like any other manager but like similar to most managers the past 20 years, we have been hamstrung by selling our best players as we look to compete again

Benitez - Wins the Champions League (Miracle with that squad) but fails in the league that season which was no surprise .. everything is coming together in 2008 but we eventually sell Mascherano, Alonso, Torres and go back to square one

Rodgers - Bedding in period, gets the best out of Suarez, we come 2nd and look to be competing again... And then we sell our best player and its back to square one

Some of his signings have been poor, some have been very good - but when your signings are having to replace such important figures in your team its so hard to improve

We don't have the money to compete with United, City or Chelsea and when they spend money its to improve what they already have.. when we spend money its to replace players the majority of the time

Some fans have absolutely deluded expectations when in reality only a one-off superb season will stand us with any chance of winning the Premier League or any other competition barring a few of the smaller one's

Actually, it was probably missing the ball, and getting the feet which got him sent off.. (Sorry, couldn't resist, lol);;

But anyhow, it probably all depends on Gerrard's temperament at present. Could be a gamble, still..

your first point saying gerrard cost us the game, no he didn't his red certaintly didnt help but it was they way we set up and let united pressure us from the start, we couldnt even string more than 3 passes together. so your wrong there. your other point about our run this season, it only happened once he switched from playing his awful boring possesion nonsense for which we dont have the player for. are you completely forgetting for all the seasons his been in charge he always starts of the same with his useless "philosophy". you argue about klopp not only has he lost key players at key moments he has had all his good players picked off. you cant even compare klopp problems with rodgers, so your saying because we lost sturiddge that is the SOLE reason we were **** poor for the start of the season. sure. once again the reason we went on this run was because we switched to a high pressure football which suits the players we have. im sorry to say but he will most likely be gone in the summer because he has failed. on the the transfers, you say markovich will settle i am sure he will but ask your self did we need to spend 20 million on a player when we have a better player in his position with better potential called ibe. No. you argue that we got coutinho and sturiddge etc... as bargains, im sorry but 2 or 3 transfers out of more than 150 mill spent is absolute awful i dont care what anyone says, the careless buying off alberto, ilori etc... what about them. You say my paragraph is nonsense but i am just explaining things that have just happened, dont be fooled by last seasons run which wasnt even down to him entirely, you say we nearly one the league but nearly is why we have failed for 26 years, you think nearly got us 18 league titles.
