It's the poor season and silly jibes that have done him more harm than good. He's made digs at United, Saints and Spurs this season. Each and every one of them has come back at him. he tried to make Balotelli a scapegoat earlier one. Can't excuse this on last season, youve simply not made the most of this season at all, failing on all fronts.
Yes, i agree with this - Like i said, no doubting Rodgers has made mistakes during his tenure and this year
if he had a system that worked why does he keep changing back to his tippy tappy ****. jheez your the only one that is still falling for rodgers bullshit. btw the league has not got harder, its a **** poor league which shows in english clubs abysmal europe records for the past couple of seasons.
There are reasons for previous times.. the past few games i do completely agree with you though. That made no sense at all
I'm falling for the fact in the Premier League Rodgers has been our one of our best managers for the past 20 years
This..It does make me laugh reading some of the comments going on. Rodgers has been our best manager for a while. Whist it has been a poor season, we have lost our two top scorers from last season. Admittedly, we have made some poor signings, but I'm not sure how much input Rodgers has had on them. We have a history of buying **** players even before Rodgers (we bought Djimi Traore and el Hadji Diouf ffs)
He easily deserves anther season. Injures have been a major problem this season too. Hopefully in the summer we will invest wisely and do a lot better next time around.
I'm not saying you're fickle, I'm saying we're not fickle either since people here doubted Rodgers for a good while now, last season included.
But it is. How many solid players do you really have? Its been 3 years and half of your squad needs replacement, including whole bunch of Rodgers' signings.
How is the league harder? He took over at a time when English clubs started to suck donkeys *** in Europe. Your past managers had to play in a league where you couldn't keep an english club out of Champions League final for like 10 years. He played two seasons now in a league where United, the dominant force, have completely collapsed.
He had it easy, far as I'm concenred.
My bad then, but I seen very little criticism last year until we didn't win the league
Thing is, this has been a cycle for the past 10 years at least.. Rebuild, do well, sell our best player/s and then have to rebuild again.. Rodgers could have done things slightly different but there is no coincidence in that our form has followed a similar pattern for the past 10 years or so
The league is tougher because Man City have become yet another team Liverpool have no chance of competing with and financially there is a bigger gap than ever. Add United and Chelsea to that and fourth place seems the highest they could possibly achieve. Not to mention you then have Arsenal and Tottenham competing for that with you
Barring odd circumstances, money wins titles and buys success so there is no surprise the richest teams are the most successful
