Haha I know we're not going to go sign 7 top class players I just thought it was funny the difference in quality by the two teams. That and it reminded me of the links to players we had last summer.

It's a big transfer window for us need to get it right. Think we need a Torres/ Suarez sort of signing, someone ready to break into the the top tier of players who just needs that little extra push.

Absolutely bullshit article. Montoya? :D Nainggolan is more CM than DM, and he's quite aggressive, same as Papadopoulos (Kyriakos, not KyGriakos like in article :D) which wouln't help the team at all.
Not to say it would mean you have to break FFP rules to get them, and you coulnd't even afford them.

Obviously Liverpool aren't going to go and sign 7 new first team starting players, or spend the £100m+ required to do so.

However, if I were a 'Pool fan, I'd be happy with Delph, Milner and Ings for the relatively low outlay and low risk. A midfield of Henderson and Delph/Milner would be perfect for a narrow diamond and would get the best out of Coutinho or Sterling at the tip.

The most important signing will be Sterling.

i would sell sterling and bite anyones hand off who offers 30mill for him. overated english hack.

This is basically my argument.. It's been disappointing but not a disaster and unrealistic expectation (coupled with a few poor decisions from Rodgers and the club) have led to fans questioning everything when, in reality, I'm not sure we could have expected much else this season

however soooo many of those points could have been avoided, and we would not have been in this current predicament.

Son Heung-min the latest player to be linked with Liverpool... Rated highly but I've not seen much of him myself to form an opinion

Good player very mobile STR with good dribbling and technique and knows how to finish, can also play AMC. Was on fire last season, but dropped off a bit this but still been good. Would be good signing imo.

He is a beast in my FUT if that counts?

That is also my feelings towards him...

Yes, only heard good things about him last few seasons... sounds a typical Rodgers/FSG signing as well

yeah his an excellent player, if we get him, depay and vietto i will be one happy bunny. but the lfc way is danny ings and james milner along with the "worldclass" origi coming back.

Vietto has an agreement with Atletico Madrid at the end of the season as Mandzukic is off back to Germany. Ballague confirmed this on SkySports1 Revista about 4 weeks ago.

Dude I don't want to be harsh but you present transfer talk as facts. Ballague is changing his mind all the time, he's not really reliable source. Why would Mandzukic go to Germany? Which team? I also read a few interviews with Vietto and he looked quite happy at Villarreal.
I am not saying it can't happen, but nothing is certain unless it happens. Maybe I understand you wrong and you don't mean to presents this talks as facts, sorry if it's the case, but it just sounds like that to me.

PS: I am an Arsenal fan so I'm a bit allergic to 'done deals', that's why I complain :D

All he said mate was that Atletico had an agreement with Villareal to take Vietto at the end of the season with I think with Oliver Torres going the other way on a season long loan. And that various clubs in Germany are interested in Mandzukic, and Atletico would listen to offers as he has not impressed someone. Not saying he is ITK or facts, but you cant really say he is unreliable either. I know what your saying transfer wise LOL even I have had my hart/inner muppet broken a fair few times :(

I think, judging by the rumours, a summer of: Montoya, Milner, Depay, Benteke/Son and a surprise signing as either cover or replacement for outgoing people would be very successful

Chances of it are unlikely though
