What clubs would you like to see him go to then? Top 5 landing spots?

Preferably a Premiership side that could take a chance on someone like that. Maybe one of the promoted sides. One of the perennial bottom half dwellers. Somewhere where he'd play. Or similar in the Championship.

Needs to be the top 2 divisions in England to see how he looks/ adapts to our league. Anywhere else would defeat the object.

Then you bring him back in next pre-season and see where he's at going forward.

cylne would be such a good signing really hope we can get a deal done for him. looks like rodgers is staying another year if we are making bids and given out new contracts such a shame with klopp and ancelotti out of a job we mite of having a chance of getting one of them oh well 6th place again next year it is so

Seems to be offers for Kovacic, Clyne, Ings and Milner on the table with Benteke a target after the FA Cup final

I think its a decent start to the summer at least (even though its very, very early)
I would take ings, clyne and maybe Milner if he is willin to take a small wagecut. Benteke is good but he just won't suit of style We play. He would be perfect for Chelsea but not for us. Kovacic does he play cam if so then we don't really need we have Lallana and coutinho along with other young players. What we need is someone like kondogbia can play but also will add steel to our weak midfield.

Rodgers doesn't believe in defence. He'd rather have average wingers and strikers. Lucas possibly on his way out, Kovacic possibly on his way in. Swansea 2.0

CM/CAM. I think we do need Kovacic.. We need adder quality in every position in all honesty

But I do agree Kondogbia would be a superb signing

Didnt see you complaining with this approach last season...

Kovacic seemed to play as more of a conventional mid from what I saw at the WC haven't watched any Seria A this year but in terms of going forward he is light years above Allen so consider him an upgrade on Allen

On the Origi thing, I sincerely hope he's loaned out again next year and the plan isn't to have him as part of the squad. To say he's still real raw is an understatement. Nowhere near ready for the BPL. All pace and little else. He's even been voted the worst foreigner in France last year and made L'equipe's worst Ligue 1 team. (Although I take anything they say with a pinch of salt with their uber pro PSG agenda.).

Get him involved and take a look at him pre-season to see where he's at, then loan him out for another season. Preferably in England. Then look again next pre-season and decide where he's at from there.

At this stage I aren't expecting much but hopefully he develops into something.

Don't take their worst team of the year seriously, it's done on average rating, and they've been giving him a lot despite the fact he's been playing a completely new role (centre forward) in a team that's been average at best. He's had a good second half of the season, and has put a fair few motm performances in. He's good enough to play a rotation role in the squad, especially when you consider the alternative is Balotelli/ Borini/ Lambert. I highly doubt we will be playing Origi as a striker so we shouldn't have too much to worry about. He adds a dynamic we don't have from our current crop of wide players.

@BBCSport Liverpool have £10m bid for right-back Nathaniel Clyne rejected by Southampton. Full story: http://bbc.in/1dBkquH

I thought his contract had run out? Or is that next season? Either way, I don't know if spending £15m+ on him this early in the Summer is really the statement we should be making.

As a huge fan of Jon Flanagan I would rather we looked elsewhere and focused our attention of developing his obvious talent.

Flanagan is out for 9 months and you do not know how an injury like his will affect him in Tue future

If you can't have an exceptionally good attack, you've gotta have at least a decent defence. Our good outweighed our bad last season, this season we've been ***** with both of them. Benteke isn't quarter the player of Suarez, he's not going to answer our problems offensively, and Clyne isn't going to solve our problems defensively, and neither will having a midfield of Henderson, Milner and Allen.

He's out again!? **** sake, he's only just came back. Do our physios inflict further injuries onto players? Somebody should look into this -.-

The end of the season was terrible and the Stoke result embarrassing but our defence did actually improve a fair amount this season, we just lacked a serious amount of goals

I do agree a more responsible game plan is needed if the attack isn't up to it but Rodgers is an attack minded coach and if he gets it right like he did last season its fantastic to watch

Yep. Such a shame as he is the type of player we are lacking a little with that bit of local lad passion and bite

He's been one of Inter's better players who they had/ have marked down to build around going forward. More a deep lying playmaker who's slowly starting to add goals to his game. You're ultimately looking around 20 million sterling IF they let him go.

Which ultimately is adding more of the same. We built the squad up last summer. We should be looking at top class additions. Not just good young players with potential who fit Boston's identikit profile of what they want.

Quality over quantity.
