He's quoting the Mirror, so it's probably not true.

Meeting with Mike Gordon have been going on for a week now, Werner's come over to 'conclude' the meeting today or tomorrow.
lord i hope he goes, i cant stand another season of watching a man clearly out of his depth.

Looks like he's staying, like it or not we should all get behind him one more time now, even if you dont' really want to!

if we lose 2/3 out of our first few games, the heat in the kitchen will be absolutely huge. owners love him, fans...don't.

Ancelotti has turned down Milan.

If there's some positive to come out of the last few days it's having both he and Klopp still in play as we go forward.

The question remains for how long?

It's a complete 'put up or shut up' situation now. The honeymoon is well and truly over.

This only means thats FSG and the committee have to get the transfers right this summer.. With Rodgers seemingly having only a minor role in transfers the pressure of this window is huge

I cant see it lasting long unless we are in a title challenging position (which we wont be)

The majority of fans have made their mind up and will be too stubborn to admit they were wrong if Rodgers does well... I actually think the majority of the fanbase want us to fail just so they can say 'I told you so'

If there's anyone with that attitude than they truly aren't worth your time of day and should do one and 'support' (term used VERY loosely) someone else. Sadly, that encapsulates the modern day football fan. Of which we have MORE than our fair share.

If Rodgers fails, the club fails. That's not good for anyone. I don't personally foresee anything else but that at this point. And I'd like nothing else than to wake tomorrow to the news that he's gone, Ancelotti or Klopp have been hired with full control, and the club is setting out doing things the right way. No secret there.

But I'm not hoping for him to fail going forward to get that. Or else what's the point of being a fan at all? If Rodgers is still here this time next year, it can only mean one thing and if he's turned it around and the club is flying then how can that be bad for anyone?

It's like the dicks at say the Blackburn game back in '95 that wanted us to lose so Utd didn't win the League. If your hatred of Utd means more than a Liverpool win, then **** off to Leeds or somewhere and get the **** out of my club!

if he is staying, then the committee has to be scraped, nothing good has come about from it. secondly id rather us keep the squad how it is and only add players in positions that we really need. e.g milner, ings etc...

like scouseinthehouse said, anyone who wants rodgers to fail should go support another fecking club. I support lfc and if that means rodgers can turn it around (which i dont believe he will) then it can only be good for LFC going forward.

this is what I fear next season time bomb waiting to go off
i really hope for Rodgers sake we get of to a winning start next season.

I agree, I just think once a decision is made by fans it will take an awful lot to change that

Early reports suggest it's not going to be, but the signing of Milner for his age and wages perhaps suggests a slightly different approach which could be a positive sign

Yep, exactly.. fixture list will be interesting

I know this isn't Football Manager but i would be happy if Liverpool signed Ings, Milner and Clyne and then splashed the rest of their budget on a striker

This is obviously depending on sales but with Origi coming in, a back-up st in Ings, versatile Milner and RB Clyne we could afford to sign no-one else bar a striker in my opinion

I fully agree with that with maybe one extra addition.I would like a more experience Dm as i don't think we can rely on Can as our first choice yet and Lucas as much i like him is a gamble for next year with all the injuries.

Edit and allen with 1.68 could not be consider as an Dm.
