I fully agree with that with maybe one extra addition.I would like a more experience Dm as i don't think we can rely on Can as our first choice yet and Lucas as much i like him is a gamble for next year with all the injuries.

Edit and allen with 1.68 could not be consider as an Dm.

One thing regarding Rodgers is he doesn't exactly play with a DM regularly anyway... I think he will be hoping the energy in midfield will make up for the lack of a natural defensive midfielder

You are right but that didn't get him anywhere and now he is playing his future in the club.

We've apparently bid £15mil for Kovacic. Good player but with the arrival of Milner along with the various other CM?CAMs in the squad I think it is a rather unnecessary buy. Would much rather we went for a top striker or centre back. Unrealistic but I would love us to go for Tevez, Higuain or Benzema.

Depends on our budget, but it's a fantastic signing regardless in my opinion.

Benzema is beyond unrealistic, not a chance in ****. Higuain perhaps with Napoli not in the CL but others may be interested and Tevez would be unlikely as well

Kovacic would solve absolutely nothing in our side. We'd have a midfield of three identical midfielders.

I know this isn't Football Manager but i would be happy if Liverpool signed Ings, Milner and Clyne and then splashed the rest of their budget on a striker

This is obviously depending on sales but with Origi coming in, a back-up st in Ings, versatile Milner and RB Clyne we could afford to sign no-one else bar a striker in my opinion
i agree, but i would perhaps send origi on loan to an english premier league club.

Higuain is a no brainer. I'm not saying it would be an easy signing but especially with Napoli out of the CL aswell, you'd think we'd have to consider a bid...

In an ideal world, I agree.. I just dont think we will have the personnel to cover him leaving

Lol was reported in Spain or some media yesterday that Atletico had paid his release clause and medical imminent. Gotta love Muppet season.

You must be desperate for this Vietto to Atletico transfer the amount of times you have said it's a done deal haha!

LOL just whats been said by no end of different people. And what Ballague said live on sky. Would love him in the Prem tbh.

I can't see Origi going out on loan. It was common knowledge that he didn't want to be at Lille this season so I doubt he'd want to get loaned out again.

Yeah, I seen Balague report it... He looks a good player but like others have said the only concern is his physique in the Premier League

Oliver Kay
@OliverKayTimes Re Milner to #LFC, not 100% done yet but it's expected to be finalised (if perhaps not announced) by end of week. Disappointment for #MCFC

Finding the best deal is common in negotiations, but this is simply taking the ****. We seen it with Arsenal last summer and all it does is create a further obstacle in negotiations
I agree. Very strange way of going about it, especially if they named a price they would except.
