Brilliant get all the signings ready before pre season. why didnt we just go for quality over quantity last season.

I think last season was good tbh. They should all be better now Can,Markovic ETC. Don't think you signed quality this Summer so far bar Firmino.

To be fair FSG have tried to get their summer business done more or less early every year.
Rodgers second year we had all 4 signings done by July 2. Last year we had Can, Lallana and Lambert tied up by the same date. It was only the Suarez sale that delayed the rest. But we already knew who we wanted with the money there. And the first year we didn't appoint Rodgers until the start of June so that pre-season was all over the place. Kenny's and their first summer window is the real anomaly.
Honestly can't give an opinion on Bacca if true. Seen him for one half of one game. Good record last year in a top league but I'd need to see him play.

Bacca is good and would be a good back up for Sturridge and a good signing. Not really a Brendon type of STR though imo.

See that right there would be a glaring red flag of more of the same. We're coming off that with Mario and Lambert. And his first signing Borini. Aspas ..... well, I don't know what Aspas is but it aint' very good.
But again, I honestly haven't watched him to form any real opinion.

He is defo a different type to Suarez and Sturridge type of STR. More like a Dzecko type.

From what I'm reading Utd are very interested too so we'll see what happens.

We are but not one of our A or B or even C targets. Roma and both Milan clubs also. Cant see us going for him tbh. Would not mind if we did, would be good option after Rooney.

Ings couldn't finish his dinner tonight, sooner you get that next striker the better, not seen much of Bacca so can't comment really. But I'm guessing he's an improvement over ballotelli, **** who isn't.

Baca is the next best thing from Suarez. He's almost a carbon copy. He scored 7 Europa league goals this season, which Sevilla won. 21.5 million for him is daylight robbery. He's very physical with good agility and balance and quite a bit of pace. He's also a very brave striker with a high work rate. He is also very good technically. He's very good at passing the ball and very creative in the final third. His biggest strength is his finishing and timing of runs. He has a fox in the box instinct and he'll hit the net 80% of the time in the penalty area. This is because of his excellent movement and top class ball control. If Liverpool get him, you'll be very lucky to get him on the cheap release clause. Shockingly, 5 years ago, he was a Colombian fisherman!
perfect brendan striker imo. from watching him he loves to press and his off the ball movement and finishing is excellent. you compared him to dzeko, well he is sooo far from dzeko as a player. rondon is more like dzeko.
You can take it however you want. Mourinho might like winning but he is also the most pragmatic manager around and he knew we had a better shot at winning the CL than the league. Hence why he played a weakened team at Anfield. That doesnt mean he didn't want a result from the game though but it also means he wouldn't have gone gung-Ho and started throwing on all the top players if we happened to be losing or drawing the game because we were very close to reaching the CL finals
Not very, just keeping tabs on him and if you go by Telegraph there is no intention is signing him. Not sure why they just keep tabs on players. More like Agent and selling club leaking to drum up the interest.
He will be 29 at the start of the season and we have 2 old strikers already and he is not better than Rooney.

Yeah, it's not like he is among the top scorers in the last 3-4 years in PL that too without playing as main striker.
