Doesn't look too bad
Well they'll be no Sturridge of any note until the NY (and heck knows how long after that it will be before he goes down again) so an experienced, reliable forward is still key.
The midfield looks a lot stronger there. Although that would leave them very narrow with Moreno in particular expected to contribute in attack and he got worse at both ends of the field the longer last year went on. And it's still full of holes at the back. Clyne's a great start, and hopefully the inconsistent Sakho really steps up as he needs to do now in year 3. But the LB, right CH and GK are still there by default as there's little else.
Been a very good summer of additions thus far, but it just shows how bad a mess the starting XI was to start with that theres still a lot of work to do the next couple of years.
