Just got back, the place was absolutely bouncing after the penalty. Bit weird though, he looked shaky early on, but gosh that was a heck of a save

We played well, but we'll really have to start putting the chances away. But I shouldn't complain really, we normally **** up first game of the season

Suarez just might forget he was ever interested in arsenal lol after how badly they got ripped open by Villa.Perfect start for liverpool.New signings looked gud and the only moron making the club unsettle might now settle down to fight for that 4 th spot.

Liverpool win, Everton draw, Arsenal loss... just need United to drop points and it will be a pretty much perfect opening day

Heh this is what I was thinking however United made Swansea look very average... Shame...

In other news it looks increasingly likely day by day that Willian is going to sign for the club, unless a CL club comes in for him and the only one that I could see doing that is United. Apparently Newcastle are after him but I reckon we're a better attraction to Willian then him. Apparently we'd be going for Damiao if we don't get Willian, not too sure about that one... Did he not want CL football anyway? Either way, looks like we're desperate to sign another Brazilian haha

City's business is not done, and i think they tried for Willian before.

Would be surprised, he would be brought purely because they can.. They have so many options in that area at City

means absolutely nothing, but it seems to be getting closer and closer to a Liverpool move

I think we know if City, Arsenal, or Chelsea or someone bid for him, he'll pretty much 100% go there, so we're trying to get it done quickly as possible. Hopefully.

We seem to have agreed a fee and have already met with his agent according to BBC, telegraph ETC

Need to get in wrapped up within the next few days.. quietly confident as we have gone in with a big price immediatley, not messing about like in previous deals

How quickly things can change eh?

Spurs apparently now favourites to sign Willian, next 24 hours the Brazilian will decide between Us and Tottenham

If true, its because Spurs are preparing to lose Bale.

He'll decide tomorrow if it's us or spurs. he'd prefer to go london, but we're willing to pay more £££. richard buxton said we're still in the driving seat

Times reporting Spurs have entered the race for Willian and are confident of landing Coentrao and Halilovic as well.

that would take their spending to above £100 mil... Bale 100% gone if that indeed happens

So Spurs and Liverpool are in. United had the option offered, but turned it down (because he isn't someone really capable of playing CM)

Yep, seems a straight decision over Spurs or Liverpool now... Very good player, but not the type United are really looking for

Can't blame Spurs.. Alot of hate towards them purely because they beat us to a signing

they offered more money and agree a fee with Anzhi, apparently we wouldn't go as high as Spurs

Spurs net spending will be we'll over 80mil with Willian, we have made a profit of £6mil .. How are we supposed to compete with that?

With Bale's transfer it will be 120 Million for outgoing transfers and around 90 Million for incoming transfers which is -30 Million net spend.
