What a complete and utter joke, Mkhatriyan, Sigurdsson, Salah, Willian, Konoplyanka all ****** up.

Its getting beyond a joke now. Something needs to change before the summer window. We cant keep missing players. If we miss out on 4th now......I dont even want to say.

Ben Smith: #LFC had an agreement with Konoplyanka. Owner of FC Dnipro refused to sign the paperwork

Would've loved to see Konoplyanka in the prem, even if it was to Liverpool. Shame you couldn't land him.

SSN saying we triggered a cause in his contract, but the Dnpro owner wouldnt sign the paperwork. Surely they cant do that?!

I thought that seemed illegal, but I haven't heard anyone mention anything about possible legal action. Wonder what the next step would be

but anyway...

hahahahaha what a terrible negotiating team we have, regardless of the kono deal, our negotiating is pathetic

Reasons I've heard so far:

Dnipro owner wouldn't sign papers
Ayre dropped bid after Spurs drop out
Agents trying to get more cash out of the deal

Oh well. He seems like a good player, but maybe it's for the best.. Salah was obviously first choice.

Feel sorry for Konoplyanka, him and his agent seemed really ****** off by it falling apart.

On a brighter note, Spurs, United and Everton all currently losing.

Despite the disappointment of the transfer window, it always make you feel better when United lose. Spurs drawing was also a bonus.

Just hope we dont go and screw it up tomorrow.

Huge game for you lot tomorrow, I think 9 points above United would be huge at this stage. The way United are playing though it doesn't seem that big to be honest.

If all the facts are correct, absolutely.

pulled this from another site, this guy works at liverpool in some capacity and is very knowledgeable about transfer dealings:

"it is not that simple. First he would have to prove that the club had been in breach. Then he would have to arrange a termination. Unless both parties agreed to terminate without penalty, which is highly unlikely. It is more likely he will just have to get on with it, as the alternative would involve a costly court case. That is if the contract has been breached, which I very much doubt."

Can't believe we didn't get him. For whatever reason is was I'm absolutely fuming. Still, brillaint to see the mancs get turned over by stoke.

You'd have to have seen the skittles advert to get this.

Depends what you believe, although it seems the failed deal was nothing to do with Ayre 'this time'.

However, results today have been very good. With City and/or Chelsea dropping points as well, big chance for us capitalise

So after getting ****** of with my defender playing a stupid ball across the box leaving the opponents striker an easy goal on FM, I look up and see Toure do the same thing. FFS. Double rage
