Taking nothing as certain yet. We've got West Ham away and that will be tricky, not to mentioned City and Chelsea. I'm grateful to be up there challenging, Rodgers has shown what a truly talented manager he is and I look forward to many years at the helm. One game at a time, I'm nervous even contemplating where we could end up at the end of the season. Either way, I'm just glad we're on target for Champions League football next season! Missed those special nights on a Tuesday and Wednesday!

Just think. If Liverpool go on to win the title, they did exactly what we (Everton) did in the 84/85 campaign. Finished 7th previous season, then won the title the following. Glad we can inspire you :D lol

Give you that one haha! Pushing for you guys to get 4th this year! Give the city more than a couple European nights!

It always amazes me how friendly Everton and Liverpool fans are to each other lol. I mean I know it's called the friendly derby- but actually rooting for your rivals to succeed seems weird haha.

It's not been called the friendly derby for years to be fair, not since the '90's. I think a lot of it is solidarity since we're in the same City. We want them to do well, but not too well..

Fair enough. Just seems odd considering the attitudes of, say, the two Sheffield clubs or the Manchester clubs who pretty much wish the worst for each other lol.

For me, if a club-rival or not-has such a tremondous history in football be it Man Utd, Liverpool for example, I'll always respect them for it because they've been so successful. And I'll show that respect because I'm a football fan, I love football and the aforementioned clubs have earned that respect and it's very hard not to give them that respect. Imo of course.

Though of course, if we lost to a last second goal against them, that respect will be buried deep under simmering rage and emotional scarring of course for a few days first lol

I agree wholeheartedly mate, I respect all football teams which are worthy of respect, no matter whether they are rivals or not. And it has to be said that the link between Liverpool and Everton has been strengthened by Everton's support of the JFT96 campaign, which is a matter close to our club's heart.

City with another emphatic win today. They weren't playing at their best, yet still managed to thrash an impressive Southampton side! We need to be at our very best next week to beat them.

As amazing as it would be to win the title, I'm still just happy with the season we've had. It's weird, but I'm still not expecting us to win the league, even though we're top

I agree, but it'd be brilliant for Stevie to finally achieve the trophy that has eluded him for so long - this season will probably be his best chance.

How the **** that is not a foul I have no idea! The amount of decision we have had go against us this season is unreal

The first time I think I have ever seen two wrongs making a right
