Chelsea's record in games after away ties in CL this season:
Norwich 1-3 Chelsea.
Chelsea 2-1 Man City
Chelsea 3-1 Southampton
Fulham 1-3 Chelsea
Chelsea 3-0 Stoke

If I'm truly honest, Chelsea coming to Anfield doesn't bother me. I can see us winning it comfortably 2-0. No idea why, I was dreading the city game, but I haven't got any bad feeling about Chelsea. It's Crystal Palace away I'm most worried about.

City felt the same way when we went there back in February...........

The way I see it is Best attack vs Best defense

Agreed, and we do need to win unlike you but i don't see your lot sitting back. We are at our best when we can sit deep and then break with numbers on the counter so will be interesting to see the formations.

Yep. For you you need a win, so hopefully that will leave a few gaps for the pace of Sterling to exploit. Especially with the City result today too, we can actually take a draw now.

Yeah because if you actually needed to win the game i reckon Jose would have gone 4-3-3 but now think it will be 4-2-3-1 with Matic and Luiz in the middle.

Sturridge might not be fit, no one knows right now. If so, expect Suarez, Cou and Sterling up top.

Chelsea last 5 finishes: 3rd, 1st, 2nd, 6th, 3rd
Liverpool: 2nd, 7th, 6th, 8th, 7th

Forgive me for not expecting us to challenge for the title this season, I must be brainwashed.

Despite the fact that Chelsea finished 3rd last season, we still finished some way off the top. We were never in the title race at all last season tbh. I just don't understand why you have a different set of criteria for Mourinho and then another for Rodgers. If you criticize Mourinho for being pessimistic despite being near the top all season then why don't you criticize Rodgers as well? Still waiting for a response. YNWA

Mourinho never was pessimistic I believe. He simply said this year is for building the team and our aim is not to win title and we never had lead mathematically. He said "I will say we are title hopefuls from next season when we have a complete team". Somehow media always missed the last part.

Chelsea were always going to be one of the title contenders. Liverpool were looking at a fight just to be in the top 4. One sid also has a massively bigger budget than the other. Not even remotely close to being the same thing.

What? At the start of the season you could have said that but the fact is that Liverpool secured a top 4 place quite early. Even after that Rodgers kept saying that Liverpool are not title contenders. Budget doesn't mean squat considering Liverpool had one less competition and were essentially only focusing on the EPL from January onwards so their lack of depth would hardly have been exposed. Plus their team is a title-winning team

Obviously that is something that LFC fans have repeatedly ignored so I have no choice but to use a different angle of argument unfortunately ... Let's hope they at least get this one

It wasnt a title winning team, thats come about during the season, in fact no one actually took them seriously for the title until 6 weeks ago. So no, not even close. Comparing Chelsea to Liverpool over the course of the season is silly.

Team A is not even considered top 4 contender, team B is heavy title contender.

Therefore when manager A claims so, its the truth, but when manager B claims so, he is full of ****. That's all.

If this is too complicated to process perhaps you would like a drawing or a pie chart.

Also if being in too many competitions is a problem for Chelsea, its probably because your mastermind of a manager loaned out his best striker and sold bunch of quality players in middle of the season.

Wait wait wait ... Liverpool isn't considered even a top 4 contender despite the fact that nearly every other top team had a change of manager. Despite the fact that they have some world-class players such as Suarez and Sturridge. Despite the fact that you have a great manager in Rodgers who already has had one season to implement his blueprint. Hilarious honestly. You are basically sayig that you would be okay if Liverpool finished outisde the top 4 because they weren't even considered a contender. YNWA!
