can't help but feel if we did get a player in January, who can add something different off the bench this would have all ended so differently. When Aspas is your only option, you're in trouble.

Well played chelsea & mourinho, come on brenden get the boys picked up for the last two games, what an end to an amazing season, i can see palace doing city today then us lol, come on lfc, YNWA XX

Still confident Liverpool will be Premier League champions... Funnily enough it may be Everton who 'win it' for us

Credit to Chelsea made us play a game that we weren't accustomed to. They stifled our threats and defended well.

this Defeat hurts, but we shouldn't dwell on it. These things happen, and we were undone by a good side. Win our remaining two games and we could still win the league. If we don't, then we don't. We move on and learn from this experience.

The title will be decided next weekend, the Everton/City and Liverpool/Palace matches.

shame everton lost to southampton, otherwise they'd have something to play for still

If everyone wins untill the final day, then these will be the circumstances:

Man City: Win to win the league
Liverpool: Win and hope city drop points or draw and hope city lose.
Chelsea: Win and hope Liverpool and City drop points.

No chance. They've got no champions league to play for and will turn over. They'll happily take an **** beating from Kompany & Co if it meant we weren't champions.

Who can blame them.. After all certain Red Legend did the same thing by passing back.

I can assure you there is absolutely no chance in **** of use rolling over against City-that is NOT Everton. We're not like some clubs where if there's nothing to play for, we don't show up and not give a **** about the fans. Martinez won't stand for it either. And there are a quarter of Everton fans who do want Liverpool to win aswell-yeah it may be going to Liverpool but it's still going to Merseyside for the first time in god knows how long. And I'd love nothing more to see Liverpool stick it to City

If we do just give up the ghost quite frankly I'd be absolutely astonished. And also deeply embarrassed.

Maybe if you were away but at Goodison, when Martinez is still trying to prove that you can play with the best of them. Not a chance.

The team would be absolutely slaughtered-they wouldn't know what hit them. Forgot to also add the squad is highly professional-could you imagine a player like Jags or Leighton just allowing people to slack? Not a chance. Too much professionalism.

main problem will be that half of Everton's team are injured.

From what I hear Jagielka will be back for the City game, and Stones has just been brilliant deputising in the D. But yes we have been ravaged by injuries-again lol. Which may work in our favour-give some of the fringe players a chance to showcase what they're made of

Haha, we're being linked with Can from Bayer, who I was touting on here months ago. Hope there's something in it.

Whatever the outcome of the league run we can only be pride of the players, the couch and our style of play and especially our great captain.

Its been a fantastic year for our team and the best are still to come.
