I think Barca will give 2 options, 1 is to let Liverpool to negotiate with Sanchez and see if he is interested and other one is just offer money if Sanchez wants to move to some other club.

I know its too obvious options but maybe something like only agreeing deal with Liverpool to see if that helps. But if player doesn't want to then I don't think Barca or LFC can anyway proceed with player exchange. Problem is when clubs wants to offload player and he is a star player then they rarely agree to be part of some transfer.

Yeah but once Barca says he is not needed, will he or his agent really care what's best for Barca? He will surely do what's best for him..?

I'm not saying this won't happen but I haven't see any big player who was used as makeweight for other transfer and that too when club wanted to offload.

I agree, but Barcelona trying to convince him to join Liverpool is better than nothing being said from the club at all

However, player exchanges are difficult and rare but i think Barcelona have to else they will not sign Suarez. It wouldb't surprise me if they try to include Pedro as well

They are quite openly looking for a CB having offered big money for Marquinhos and paying 70-80m for Suarez isn't an option for them IMO
 
It the most obvious case of tapping up a player i have ever seen...

Luis Suarez is told by Barcelona that he has to apologise and then as soon as he does the president speaks about how it is an honourable thing to do and that he has all the qualities for Barcelona
 
Zubizarreta and Rakitic praised Suarez for the apology. As per the rumors, Liverpool were not even aware that Suarez is releasing the statement and now this. Too obvious..
 
I dont think Liverpool can complain about tapping up after they were caught red handed when they tried to sign Dempsey the other year.

All three want to be the focal point of attack, and rightly so. However, all three can't be the focal point. Not to mention, clash of egos. Has more potential to mess up than any other line-up I've seen recently.

I still think we'll sign either Rojo or Moreno for the LB spot... Bertrand would be absolutely terrible
 
I have read that Bernard wants to leave Donetsk dew the situation in Ukraine. Hopefully his asking price will come down.
 
Barcelona have been tweeting about Suarez like he is already a barca player.
 
Barca and Real Madrid come calling i'm sorry but you won't keep Suarez. It's one thing to turn down his RC to Arsenal but you can bet Suarez would put in a transfer request to go to Barca or Madrid.

I think it will be a very poor signing, but look at what Rodgers has done with Sturridge... There is always hope haha
 
It seems Bournemouth received 4million from the Lallana deal so the actual figure for him is an initial 16million, not the 25 being reported by some

That sounds a bit more realistic
