Of all the names rumored to joining for a Luis replacement I think he is the most fitting. Young and lots of potential.

I don't know. Ask him. He's the one throwing the hissy fit over it. He obviously really wants to leave and Southampton are blocking him.

Lovren is a gamble, if you ask me. He was terrible at Lyon. I'm afraid that he will play poorly again, it's not same playing for Soton and L'pool, he could crumble under so much pressure.

Di marzio's confirmed we've bid 25 mil euroes for Markovic.
I saw that too. I like how Liverpool's 'downfall' last season was their inability to defends so they immediately set out to sign lots off attacking players in the next transfer window. I'm guessing the defenders (lovren etc) will arrive later. But the costs of this transfer window will be extraordinary. They had better get cl next season.

Was just thinking the same about pool not much links to defenders.

If we sign Markovic, as well as Can/Lallana/Lambert, that's that's around 64 million. That's around 15 mil less than we'll probably get from Suarez.

200K P/W from Suarez, that more or less covers the wages for those players.

We're also getting the CL money, which is a lot, as well as the extra TV money and revenue.

This sounds like the Spurs.

The positive though, is LFC Have a lot stronger squad than Spurs did when Bale left

It is looking at the moment like we will have Lallana, Coutinho, Sterling, Markovic, Sturridge and Lambert as out attacking options with at least one more (Sanchez or someone else) to come as well

Hardly bad options and well balanced

Really looking forward to see how it turns out for Liverpool if you sell Suarez.
Oh, and what do you think about alleged reducing Suarez ban? Anything to do with him 'probably' joining Barcelona?

And all of them except markovic have premier league experience.
